Still looking for the perfect home

We are looking to help rehome one of our past puppies. Unfortunately she has shown she needs to be an only dog which doesn't work for her current family's situation. Located in Illinois. She is from our Hazel and Teoc's Ethan (son of a euro import). Parents OFA cleared for hips and elbows. Born February 2022.

Additional info:

Unaltered- would require review and approval if going to a breeding program.
Due for rabies vaccination (appt is on May 19th to renew)
Previously house trained but has been a shop dog & can go outside whenever she pleases so might need retrained
Loves car rides
Loves baths
Owns the couch
Can sit, shake, stay (most the time), speak, & say I love you
She's only ever been fed alone so that is what she's used to
Does great with all 6 of our kids
She is hyper so she jumps
We have other farm animals but she's not really been around them so not sure how she'd be with other animals
Must be ONLY dog in home

Me and my buddy Otis are headed to get his sutures out from his eye lid surgery. He clearly isn't looking forward to this. Wish us luck 😬 (for him to sit still and me not to sob like a little baby). Any other dog mom's that get emotional over watching their dog-kids uncomfortable, just like you do for your human-kids? Lol.... its ridiculous, I know!

We added a large fenced in area for Ace. He has a pool, nice dog house, shade trees... he thinks it's pretty alright. Him and Hazel have become best buddies and he is doing so well!

This is who we are...

As you consider a bloodhound puppy, we want you to know we are, what we are about, and how amazing this breed is. We own one male, Hank, and one female, Hazel. Both are AKC Registered. They are part of our family. Our dogs are rarely kenneled and live on our country property in Southeast Iowa. Our dogs are trained on a 3 acre underground fence and obey it 100%. Bloodhounds are not a breed that should be kenneled for a good portion of their life, but they also cannot be trusted to run free as their noses WILL lead them away. Did you know bloodhounds can follow a 300 hour old scent trail? How about, that a bloodhounds “testimony” is admissible in a court of law? We feed our dogs a homemade, natural diet. It consists of local harvested venison, rice, homemade broth, carrots, and potatoes. Please reach out to us with any questions you have! We are passionate about this breed so will not sell puppies to anyone who cannot meet the demands of a bloodhound lifestyle. We want to ensure each puppy goes to a forever home.
