Blanket reminder for all those clipped horses and dropping temps. Below is the guide I like to follow for maximizing clipped coats and also for keeping my unclipped horses comfortable!

Overnight lows in the following:

- Clipped (Sheet or Lightweight)
- Unclipped (Nothing)

-Clipped (Medium Weight w/ Hood)
- Unclipped (Sheet or Lightweight)

30°
-Clipped (Heavy Weight w/ Hood)
- Unclipped (Medium Weight)

20°
- Clipped (Heavy Weight w/ Hood & Fleece)
- Unclipped (Medium w/ Neck or Heavy)

10°
- Clipped (Heavy Weight w/ Hood & Heavy Cooler)
- Unclipped (Heavy Weight w/ Neck)

Sheet is 0g or no fill
Lightweight is 100g - 200g fill (My ideal is 100g)

Rambo makes a great cooler for extra layering, and stable blanket are also great for extra warmth on the super cold nights.

Please wash your horses before appointments. Blades and equipment are not cheap and I like to provide top notch quality work to all my clients. Dirty horses take more time, they destroy my equipment and the finished product is not flawless. My goal is to provide a show ring finish every time!
