M&L FARM LLC is pleased to welcome Anna Curran as our Assistant Barn Manager / Trainer.

Having over 20 years of experience, Anna has had a deep love for horses since childhood; a timid rider to start, she learned from the grace of good ponies to have confidence while horseback as they taught her patience and balance.
After a few years of hunter jumper lessons, Anna shifted focus to dressage and competed successfully through high school at recognized shows. Through this time she showed into fourth level dressage and achieved a USDF Bronze Medal as well as competing in the musical freestyle competitions.
Following high school Anna saw the gaps in her equine education and started interning between college semesters at a horsemanship and cattle ranch in Libby, Montana, where Buck Brannaman style vaquero horsemanship was the focus of teaching. Post-graduation, she moved to Montana full-time to be a horse wrangler. While there, she became handy at riding young horses, working cattle horseback, leading cattle drives through the mountains, and teaching horsemanship, as well as some roping and cutting.
Prior to moving to North Carolina, Anna managed a private Tennessee Walking Horse farm in Michigan which prioritized making safe trail horses and regularly traveled with the horses to spend the summer riding through endless trails, over sand dunes, and in the water of Lake Michigan. Now in NC, she is delighted to be at M&L and get back into the world of competition as well as regularly ride with her sisters.

We are so sorry to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances, we are cancelling the C**t Starting Clinic scheduled for Saturday, September 28th and Sunday, September 29th. Refunds will be sent out tonight. We hope to try again in the spring.
