UPDATE- wow this post really did it’s job!!! We got over 35 applications for chief!I Many from active farms or from owners who have or have had the breed which is fabulous!!! We are working through the application and will be in touch!! Thanks guys!

can’t believe Chief has not had one single application!!!! He might be hyper but he is one of the smartest dogs I’ve had the privilege of fostering (or even owning but don’t tell mine I said that!) he’s gone from NOOOOO obedience training to sit, down, wait, crate, off, and fetch! He used to jump almost over your head to get in your face and now he does not! He sits and waits patiently for his treats now where he used to ramsack you for them. He goes in his crate at night quietly and sleeps without disturbing you. He’s also completely housebroken!!!!!! I’ve worked sooooo hard with this dude! He’s going to be an absolute gem to someone soon! 1.5 year old neutered cattle dog, great with other dogs, loves kids and anyone really, super duper smart, house trained, crate trained, obedience trained...what more could you ask for??? Pets should be at least three months old to receive their rabies vaccination and should receive a booster shot approximately one year after their initial vaccination. Pets should continue to receive booster shots every three years to lower their chances of infection.

This is Barley. We’ve talked about how great this 3 year old boy is before and we’re gonna do it again, because we can’t believe no one has snatched him up yet! Barley is a dog that doesn’t show his true colors in the kennel. I promise you, if you take him out to meet him, you’re going to fall in love. Barley loves to hold things in his mouth - a toy, his leash, whatever. So if you take him out, please give him a toy to carry. And prepare yourself. He’s 65+ pounds and thinks he’s a lapdog. That’s kinda what we love about him. He’s funny, lovey and just the best boy!

❤️UPDATE: Hoss has been adopted!!!❤️

This sweet boy is Hoss. The Deputy isn’t bad either, but Hoss...he’s the man. Hoss is silly, lovey, and just wants to please his human. He’s just under a year old and weighs in at about 60 pounds. He would do best in a home without other small animals, as he was surrendered because he didn’t play nicely with the family chickens. Hoss would make a great sidekick to anyone who needs one!
