It seemed only natural that Peace and Paws would expand into in-home pet sitting and boarding. We reached out to a valued adopter, foster, volunteer and animal lover, Casey McCabe and asked if she would like to join forces in our pet sitting venture, she enthusiastically agreed and we couldn’t be more excited. We provide a unique set of services to pet owners in and around the surrounding areas of

Central NH. Our goal is to create a one of a kind pet sitting and/or boarding experience for your animals. We understand that your pets are not just an extension of your family, they ARE your family and we will bring the same level of dedication and devotion to them as you would.

Hi Friends,
Two of our daycare pups are going to be looking for a new home and I thought we would post here first. Abby and Otto, (Abby is an 8 yrs old Dachshund and Otto is a 2 yrs old Doxie mix). They are amazing dogs and their owners are heartbroken but they are having to move into assisted living and sadly cannot take them with them. We are dedicated to finding them the perfect home so a veterinary reference, meet and greet and all the things will be required when determining their forever home. They are a bonded pair so they must go together. Fully vaccinated and spayed and neutered. If you know anyone that may be interested, please have them email [email protected]. They do well with other dogs, but cats are unknown and no small children, just to be on the cautious side.

After being in daycare for only 1 week, Sammy (German Shepherd) went from being a wallflower to full on party participant. There’s nothing like well mannered dogs to bring a timid dog out of their shell. Sammy so desperately wanted to play but just didnt have the confidence but she’s gaining a little more every day and it’s so lovely to see.

Let’s give a warm welcome to our newest pack member, Alex. Alex will be picking up Maggie’s hours as she leaves for Farrier School (so jealous).
She’s going to be an amazing farrier,
so to all our horse peeps, keep your eyes out for this girl for your farrier needs when she’s done. Alex will also be working Deb’s Fridays so you will see his friendly face around the Ruff House if you haven’t already.
His easy going and calm energy is perfect for the dogs and Bo 😉 As you can see, even Fruity approached him and as we know, it takes her a good 2 years to acknowledge anyone new so I take that as a great sign.

What can I say?
These ladies were with us from almost the very start of the Ruff House. Peace and Paws Alum Leigh-Anne (on left) came to what was tearfully Deb’s last day yesterday and for a brief moment, the band was back together again. They were a huge part in helping to rehabilitate some of the most physically and behaviorally challenged rescue dogs and when the daycare and boarding started, they became part of the daycare and boarding staff. On top of that, they volunteered thousands of hours to help the rescue dogs and to help us. They treated every daycare dog like their own and I know the dogs will miss (and have missed) them too. While we and the dogs have missed Leigh-Anne and now will miss Deb terribly, we are so happy for what lays ahead and for her next adventures.
Thank you ladies and good luck Deb.
The world is such a better place because of you both.
We love you and miss you ❤️❤️🐾🐾
