Meant to post earlier in the week, the whisker competition photos sidetracked us. Anyway, Tabby's Place is a wonderful rescue and home for many cats who have become homeless. They are a wonderful organization giving classes on TNR along with being open for tours and adoptions.

Here's JJ looking a bit more chipper than recent days, he ate 2 live mealworms in one gulp...I use tweezers from my first aid kit in the car...I am not picking them out from their container with bare hands!!

Different households however, they're all female and ginger....not common!

The top photo we have Katie with her long and curly whiskers, ( I counted 21!)... bottom photo is Lauren sporting her all black whiskers! Katie was named after Katherine Hepburn and Lauren after Lauren Bacall.

Stay tuned...All Creatures is hosting a "Whisker Competition" for all the felines we care for! Sort of like the Nathan's hotdog eating contest.... but more refined w/o anyone jamming multiple hotdogs in their mouth at once...yuk. Looking for the sweetest little whiskers...Judges decision will be final. Here's Harley gettin' all excited to be in the competition!
