We LOVE spooky season because we LOVE to see your pets looking adorable in their costumes. This year, we have a special photo station to capture these moments.

With your permission, we will share here and provide a prize to the most liked pet costume of the season.

If your pet isn’t scheduled to see us this week, that’s okay! Stop by to “trick-or-treat” and we will snap a photo for you. You’re also welcome to share your photos from home to our email.

Let's take a moment to recognize this incredible woman! Deja is one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians. She adapts to any role with grace but really shines with patient care, taking time to ensure anxious pets have the best experience possible. Deja is a bright spot in any day - her kind and easy-going personality brings a sense of calm to her patients and her teammates. She's a shining star at work and at home as a new mom, merging both worlds seamlessly. We're lucky to have her represent the Healing Paws family. If you've had the pleasure of working with her, you just know what we mean. Thanks for being you, Deja, and for choosing this career and for choosing to utilize your skills here with us.

In honor of National Veterinary Technician week, we are featuring our amazing and skilled Registered Veterinary Technicians.

Jess joined the Healing Paws team in 2017 with a dream to start her career in the field. Since then she has gained valuable experience in a number of capacities, with a particular passion for surgery and anesthesia. Jess has just started the process of pursuing her VTS (Veterinary Technician Specialty) in surgery. As our Clinic Lead, Jess does a lot behind the scenes to help guide the daily workflow and train the team to be their best. The biggest smile you'll see on her face comes after she's assisted with a challenging dental cleaning. If it's not clear by the photos, she's a big Bengals fan and loves shepherds. What you don't see in the photos is her exceptional sense of humor - puns for days! It's a joy to work with her every day. Thanks for all that you do and all that you bring to our team, Jess.
