It is with mixed emotions that we share this letter from our beloved Dr. Kat Kammerer:
“It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that I will be leaving Healing Paws Veterinary Hospital on July 16th, 2025. This decision was not made lightly, and while I am excited for the next chapter in my journey to be closer with my family in Utah, it is incredibly difficult to say goodbye to the wonderful community that has meant so much to me.
Over the last two years, I have had the privilege of caring for your beloved pets and building relationships with so many of you. Watching your furry family members grow, recover, and thrive has been one of the greatest joys of my career. Your trust and kindness have touched me deeply, and I will always carry those memories with me.
Although I may be moving on, a part of my heart will always remain with Healing Paws Veterinary Hospital and the families I’ve come to know and love here. I hope our paths cross again someday.

Summer adventures await!

As you prepare for travel and holidays, don’t forget to refill your pet’s medications and check their microchip information.

Healing Paws will be closed on Friday July 4th and Saturday July 5th.

Holiday festivities often start in the days leading up to the holiday. If your pet is affected by fireworks and noisy celebrations, now is the time to put in a request for calming medications. Please give us a call so that we can help!
