“I am trying to re-home a 1 year old puppy, Apollo. He is a Mountain Cur mix. Apollo is the sweetest boy, great with the family and our other dog as well. He is not great with small dogs.”
“He is so sweet and cuddly with everyone in the family. He is house trained, not food aggressive and loves to play. Apollo knows many commands and always wants to please his humans. He has recently started water training too. If we can’t find him a foster or adoption center we will have to surrender him to the pound, where I’m afraid he’ll be put down. His best chance of a full life would be somewhere he can run and get the exercise he needs.”

Hercules (pictured) has come leaps and bounds from when he was surrendered! Kyrie (foster family) has worked with this pup daily, he is excellent in the home and good with other animals, loves water and snuggles! He can be shy around strangers still but has improved so so much!

We recently helped two half feral male cats, they are not mean. They have lived outside and would not be suitable for indoor living, but we want to find them a safe barn to live out their lives.
They like people, but take time to trust you.
We could also use some dontations to get them fixed and up to date.

We got a marvelous update from Hercules’ foster mom!
“He really has come quite far, still neg void around strangers but in his extended circle he is doing well. Manners are getting better, and he is crate trained for dinner times, nighttime, and leaving the house. His recall is pretty good, although he's so nervous we will leave him he doee not want to tend to "stray"far.
He does well with the cats, no desire to chase in the house. And respects correction from our dogs”

“Ireland: She is very sweet. Has gotten along with my other dogs. She currently lives with her 1/2 sister Ruby. She was bathed end brushed out on November when she went to the vet to be wormed, and updated rabies. When she was younger she did live in the house part of the day. I am sure she would catch on again on a few days. She is 6 years old.
Ruby: 6 yr old female, she is pretty calm, sleeps a lot during the day. 1/2 sister to Ireland.
Zury: my 10 yr old male. He is on the smaller side and had a shorter haircoat. He is AKCed registered, but his paperwork cannot be located at the moment. His grandfather was and AKC Grand Championed. His grandfathers reg name was Kia's show in for the Gold. He has been mostly with women but will warm up to you with patience and a few weeks. Up to date rabies and wormings.
The 3 - 2 yr old male full brothers are busy. They are more calm seaparated. They have been walked in leashes, in and out if vehicle's to the vet and they dog wash. They are full blooded Siberian huskies, not mixed breed. They dog have a Wolly haircoat, its in their mothers side of the lines. Their names are from left to right Rafael,freckled on nose. Rizzo (dark face). Romeo small strip between his eyes.”

“Nova” went from shaking of fear to jumping for joy in just one week… This dog is a gem… one of a kind soul, the type of dog that can come out of trauma with a heart of gold and a taste for life and love is an incredible one… and she is that one. 2 weeks since we rescued her from the kill pen, she’s 6 months and was in terrible condition, she’s had corrective trimming for her congenital defects in spine and hip, daily nutritional supplements and TONS of good quality feed… the transformation is incredible 😳😻
A little update on Hope! Some good and some bad news, overall it’s good! She has some congenital defects and nutritional deficiencies, but Dr thinks she will live a happy life! We cannot ask for more, she’s here, she’s safe, and she’s happy! Now on to getting her done with quarantine, getting treatment and getting her a HOME!
Malnutrition, pain and JUST A BABY! she was likely taken off mom at auction. WE HAVE TRIED TO STAY AWAY FROM KILL BUYERS, but she’s an exception. We do not support kill buyers and try to keep our distance after many many bad experiences. However, she is being delivered here out of pure compassion for this baby. We have a supporter who is begging us to take this sweet girl in to get evaluated! We have the vet lined up for Monday, she gets delivered on Sunday and we just ask for your support. We do not know the extent of her care but we do know she is VERY young and deserves a second evaluation. A KILL pen is not a place for babies, regardless of the prognosis. Please pray for Dr. Hammer, DVM to find a solution to her condition and pray we are successful. Many times we are given the lost causes, but we do not give up.
