Happy Labor Day everyone!

The clinic is closed today, but emergency services are available on a case by case basis.

If you are in need of emergency services today and on Sundays between 9am and 5pm, please text the clinic at (808) 935-7387 with a brief description of your pet’s condition and our staff that’s on call will get back to you when they are available.
Please be aware that if our doctor hasn’t gotten back to you between this time, she is most likely taking care of another case.
You can also leave a message by calling the same clinic number and selecting option #3.

Please have a safe day and if there is anything non-urgent we can help you with, our clinic will be open tomorrow at 8am.

Today (Saturday) and Monday are the last day to get medications to help your pet during the fireworks holiday! As long as they have had a physical exam in the last year, we can prescribe them medications! If not, we now have CBD product to help calm them down that you can buy over the counter!

Available for adoption:

Sweet Cici is looking for a loving family and home to call her own. She is around 2 years old, spayed, and has been a momma previously.
She was recently surrendered due to an abcess on her chin and her previous owners weren’t able to provide a stable home for her.
She’s in great health now, has a sweet personality, seems to get along with other pets and would be a great hunter. Being couped in a clinic isn’t the life for this adventurous girl.

Aloha Big Island community!

Exciting things are happening at Aloha Vet!

Starting on April 10th, our clinic will be open from 8am to 6pm Monday through Saturday.

We are so happy to welcome Dr. Peter Griffith and Dr. Haynoush Ohanian to the team. In addition to opening our weekend availability, we will soon offer acupuncture services.

Aloha Vet Center will be starting canine rehabilitation therapy appointments as of 10/17!
Your initial visit is a consult to evaluate gait analysis, range of motion for each joint, whether to apply modalities like laser or e-stim, girth measurements, manual therapy, neurological screening and a discussion about goals and progress.
Canine rehabilitation therapy is great for conditions such as:
Degenerative joint disease or Arthritis
Hip dysplasia
Tendon, ligament and muscle injuries
Intervertebral disc disease (IVDD)
Joint Instability
Nerve disorders
Obesity
Pain
Paralysis
Rear limb weakness
Recovery from musculoskeletal surgery
Lots of treats will be involved! Call the office to schedule your initial visit to get started! 🐶🐾

Aloha 🌺 to the Hilo community!

Our veterinarian will not be in the clinic tomorrow, September 23rd and will return on Monday, September 26th. However, we will be open tomorrow from 8am-12pm for retail and prescription pick-ups. Mahalo for your understanding 💚

This chinchilla almost didn’t make it. Thanks to Dr. Lyons she has a second chance. We are all falling in love with her. So glad we have Vets who can save these little ones.
