🐐 Alfie update!! He’s been home 3 weeks now after his nothing-short-of-miraculous recovery from his fourth urinary surgery. He’s almost totally back to his joyful self, playing gently with Ringo, and snuggling with Rosie and Greta.

🦙Paco is home and back with his ladies now! But both he and Sheika had plenty to say about his required isolation in the stall next to said ladies. Sheika is a little quieter than Paco but listen close and you can hear her cute grumbles.
🍇 Don’t worry!! Paco got plenty of attention and treats and special yummy food while he was separated from his friends! They’re all back together during the daytime now and Paco is doing well! ❤️🩹Thank you to everyone who helped with his hospital bill but we have a ways to go yet!

🚨This cold is not letting up. Despite the intense winter prep and building everything from the ground up to be ready for freezing temps, we somehow have frozen pipes everywhere. Our team is exhausted both from the emergencies and the cold. We are all working so hard to keep our 150 rescued residents safe and warm, because that is the promise we made to them.
