2 boxes for Bee on 2 different days. I get deliveries all of the time and have not seen this reaction until the Life's Abundance started coming.
He started the 30 Day Challenge yesterday and now that the bigger bag is here Boo and Louie will be joining him. Stay tuned for the results.
I did do a side by side with Bee yesterday at lunch. He sniffed current food went to L.A. bowl took a sniff and never went back to current food.

🔴 Alright here's my take on raw feeding.

⚫ I'm not against it
⚫ Nothing wrong with adding fresh to a good quality kibble
⚫ Some people cannot afford an all raw diet
⚫ Kudos to you if you prefer and can afford a raw diet
⚫ But, don't beat up the people who can't afford it or choose to use a higher end kibble

We recently got a message through Facebook from someone who bought medicated dog shampoo at the suggestion of her veterinarian.

She got home with the new bottle of shampoo and gave her dog a bath. Her dog started itching and scratching. She looked at the ingredients and contacted us.

The fact is, ingredients in medicated dog shampoo are not safe and non-toxic.

Below are some of the ingredients in medicated dog shampoo, their Environmental Working Group (EWG) ratings and why they got the rating.

Artificial fragrance
EWG rating of 8 with links to organ system toxicity and may case skin irritation.
DMDM Hydantoin
Has an EWG rating of 7. It is a known human immune toxicant or allergen. It is a slow releasing form of formaldehyde with links to cancer.
Cocamidopropyl betaine
EWG rating of 4. This ingredient has links to skin irritation, allergic dermatitis, is ecotoxic and may be contaminated with nitrosamines known to cause cancer.
Chlorhexidine digluconate
EWG rating of 4 with links to skin irritation and allergies.
Ketoconazole
EWG rating of 3 due to links with endocrine disruption.
Miconazole nitrate
EWG rating of 1 but is known to bioaccumulate in the body where it may cause organ system toxicity.
PEG (polyethylene glycol)
EWG rating of 3 has links to organ system toxicity and contamination concerns from 1,4-dioxane and ethylene oxide (both have links to cancer)
Benzethonium chloride
EWG rating of 6 due to strong links to allergies.
Would it surprise you to learn many of the ingredients used in medicated dog shampoo have been banned by other countries for use in human products?

The infamous CHINA JERKY TREAT fiasco.

FOR YEARS-
These treats have been at the center of investigation for KILLING pets.

Chicken, duck, and sweet potato jerky imported from China, was knowingly sickening and killing thousands of pets. 😳

Sudden kidney failure was the main culprit.

With OVER A DECADE of investigation;

The FDA did find illegal drug residues, not approved for poultry in the US....but claims it could not cause illness.. ❌

These treats still remain on store shelves to this day. 😡

I always stress the importance of knowing company sourcing. There are certain brands known to heavily outsource ingredients, which I highly recommend against...
These are some of them. 👎

Is this 'old news' ...? Yes. 📰

But still EXTREMELY relevant and important information for pet owners and also anyone who works in the pet industry.

This was (is) a very real issue.

Over a decade of investigation, so many lives lost at the hands of carelessness.

Yes, the ingredients used in all these pet treats had a common denominator: China.

But then went on to say: “FDA has not yet identified a cause for the reported illnesses”

It is my duty as an educator of health and wellness, and also a pet owner that I share these stories (including company names) so people can be aware and make informed decisions. 🚨

It's not my duty to protect an employees salary, or a business' reputation. That is their job as a company. ❌

My goal is to help pet owners protect their pets. 🐾

Heck, my goal is just being HONEST. 💖

Even if a restaurant was making people sick, I'd say something.

If a company is using harmful ingredients, I will tell people.

If a company is killing pets with their products, I will tell people.

If a company has a long history of dishonesty, no transparency, recalls, lies, and scandal... I will tell people!! 🙋

I would hate to be the one who has a pet die because someone was too scared to stand up for what is right and say something.

I would also hate to be the Vet Tech that continually tells people Purina is amazing and makes nutritious food when I know that is a lie of a statement, proven by lawsuits. Yes, plural!!

Hi my name is Tammy Lind. I am a yorkie breeder of 8 plus years. I am constantly looking for ways to Improve my program and my lines. Jan Williams reached out to me about LA dog food and products. I thought here we go again. I’ve tried Fromm,Bil Jack,spent money on Pawtree and my dogs wouldn’t touch it. I fed raw until I got up to 12 and couldn’t afford to feed raw any longer.I was feeding them Diamond Naturals when Jan contacted me. So I begin my research into LAs food. Pre and probiotics, vitamins and minerals, omegas, taurine for their heart, flax seed ok all this checked off well. But I have some picky eaters.
I mixed the LAs lamb and brown rice i with the diamond naturals to switch them over and not upset their stomachs. All of them ate the LA, even my picky eaters. They ate the LA and left the diamond naturals. Lol
My oldest is 9 1/2 she has a grade 4 sublux patella. They won’t do surgery. She is also starting heart failure and is overweight. Another girl has both her back knees grade 3, she is only 5 1/2 years old. I started them on the agility formula and now my older girl, Lexi is running and playing again and I don’t have too give her the meloxicam any more.
Lexi and two others are over weight. So I started her on the weight management samples sent in my kit. In three days she lost 1/2 a pound. So I ordered a big bag and placed my other to on it as well. They eat it just as good as the lamb and brown rice.
I gave them al, the sample treats and they loved them🥰
I bathed them with the shampoo and I love the smell and their coat was so soft and I didn’t need much product. I used the body spray and love that scent as well.
I can’t say enough about the products. I will continue to use them. I have to purchase them any way. Why not buy from a company that gives back to you Instead of just taking.
I told my puppy buyers what I was feeding them and sent them home with samples and my replicator site and have three customers already.
I don’t like sales, or asking people for money. These products work and they have to purchase them any way why not buy something that works and that you get something besides wonderful results any way.

Why I Love LA....easy - it takes the worry away. With so many recalls in the pet industry x the human food production it is such a stress relief to know that I do not need to worry about our furbaby's food being the best that it can be. It also helps that all our 4-legged ones eat the food - no picky eaters in the 10+ or so yrs that we have been feeding it. I truly believe that the better quality of food the longer they can live. Pictured is our Lexis @ 9 1/2yrs - She lived 11 yrs 11 months x I do not think she would have if she was on a different food that was not of this caliber

Our Ziva has been on an anti-inflammatory medicine since March 2021 when she was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and arthritis. We'vebeen doing bloodwork every 3 months because these meds are hard on the liver.
In February 2022, her ALT and ALP liver values showed a continued rise and the vet was concerned. She changed her to a different medicine and had us add Silymarin and Sam-E supplements.
BUT February was also when we switched her from Purina Pro Plan to LA and added the Agility supplement.
From February to May, 2022 her ALT went from 176 to 19 and her ALP went from 176 to 2. She also lost 2.5 lbs during this time.
Her vet took her off of the Silymarin and Sam-E and said she can wait a year for her next bloodwork.
We're giving a lot of credit to LA for this great health report!!

UPDATE:: unfortunately the seizures did not end up stopping like we thought they had. And on day thirty after this medication was given- we had to let Blayz go to the rainbow bridge😭💔

Today we got the call from our vet that Zoetis is paying for every bill inquired for Blayz as his death was 100% linked to the medicine.

We shared all his records with them in hopes that it helps save other animals.

They also HAVE to report this to the FDA as a death linked to the med.

Hug your fur babies extra tight— and do something cool for animals to carry on Blayz 🐾 🌈

DO NOT USE THIS MEDICINE!!!

Blayz (and Banner) have taken nexguard and heartguard for years. Never having any issue. Yesterday our vet told me they had a new medicine that had all the same things combined. (Same class of drugs different actual drugs)
Blayz had his 1 tablet - and 5 hours later was puking and had his first seizure.
After being extremely lethargic and stumbling around - he laid on the couch (with people trading out to snuggle him of course) for several hours
People came over to our house- Blayz didn’t even get up when they came in (if you know Blayz you know he’s our “guard dog” you can’t even pull in the driveway without him sounding the alarm!). He did eventually get off the couch and stumbled around a bit before laying on the floor again.
At bedtime he walked out in the front yard to take care of business 🚽 and then walked up to bed and went to sleep.
At 430 this morning I was woken up- Blayz was having another seizure!
We got him through it- comforted him and monitored very closely until we could reach our vet.

After a day of IV fluids - we is back to himself. Seizure free for the day 🙏🏽 and balance appears to be back on track. I went to pick him up- and found ANOTHER lady was in there with her golden retriever - who had just had the same exact thing happen!
It’s also out there that apparently it’s not so “uncommon”, these dogs have never had seizures or neurological issues before, and Nexguard which has similar components never caused a seizure for our boys.

Do your own research-
Trust your gut instinct-
And speak up when something isn’t right.

The company immediately told the vet they would be paying for all of our bills and reimbursing us for our purchase of the drug.

But people need to know this is happening.

Also adding— that in my research I have also found that it has been causing seizures and neurological issues a few months into use too rather than first dose. Needless to say we will NOT be supporting this company any further.

Some are born with it others developed it later in life.
