Yesterday was the first boil of the season! It's hard to believe this is our 25th year.

Fun fact: For the sap to flow, temperatures need to drop below freezing at night and rise above freezing during the day.

Taps are in and the sap is starting to flow.

Each day when the temperatures creep into the upper 30s and 40s after a cold night the sap will flow.

40 gallons of sap is boiled down to just 1 gallon of syrup.
