Wonderful day for our Halloween Horse Show! Congratulations to all of our riders. The costume class was a spectator favorite as usual! 👻🎃👻 A big thank you to everyone who helped out today, from our wonderful judge to our announcer, jump crew, ribbon runners, horse holders and many other jobs, we could not have had a successful day without you.

We are going to keep our box stalls open on our way south for emergency supplies for horses and owners as we head just outside of Asheville NC this weekend.

HOW TO DONATE:
Drop off at Magical Moon Farm 575 Summer St, Marshfield, MA (thank you Donna Green)

Or bring donations this Friday from 3-5pm to North Star Farm 342 Mt Blue St Norwell MA (thank you Michele North!) If you can't make our drop off time message Michele to coordinate on Messenger or at 617-688-6720.

WHAT TO DONATE:
We have a contact down south who is coordinating who has shared these details on what’s needed:

“Equines:
- hay pellets
- rain rot treatment
- thrush treatment
- benamine
- butte
- topical first aid, med tape etc
- antibiotics (SMZ, penicillin)
- dewormer
- any other livestock necessities

People:
- ANYTHING FOR BABIES
- wipes
- anything to clean their bodies as most have not showered in 5+ days
- personal hygiene / toiletries
- coffee
- non perishable foods
- batteries

Currently there is a surplus of water bottles so at this time we would like to refrain from hauling them.”

They help early donors of hay and supplies coordinate transport to hard-hit areas, but we also focus on 'the long game' and will be helping horse owners across the six states hit hardest by Hurricane Helene for months. These are VERY early days, and they respect the authorities' requests to not use roads that are needed for emergency vehicles until they have their blessings.
