Until we meet again.... Our hearts are saddened today, our hospital cat, Valentine, has passed over the rainbow bridge. She was surrounded by her teammates that loved and cared for her. We are going to miss Valentine's sassiness and s***k. She came to vector over a decade ago and lived both at the Norwell Veterinary Hospital and Hingham Animal Clinic. We will miss you sweet girl. 💔

With this weeks heat wave please remember to keep your pets well hydrated, provide plenty of shade, avoid walking on pavement, watch for signs of heat stroke such as heavy panting, excessive drooling, listlessness and confusion. And as always NEVER leave your pets in a hot car! ☀️☀️☀️☀️🐾🐾

🐇 Magnus is vaccinated and ready to go! You vaccinated a rabbit? Yep! 💉and maybe you should too. Today Magnus received his very first RHDV2 vaccine after a brief exam. He’ll get his booster in 3 weeks. RHDV is the abbreviation for Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus. This virus has not yet been detected in Massachusetts but it’s slowly working its way across the US and survival rate is low once infected.
