Hi Everyone!
I wanted to announce that starting tomorrow, Maggie’s Dog House will be open an hour later Monday through Friday! I know a lot of people work until 5:00pm during the week, and I’m hoping this extra hour will make it easier for you to be able to stop in on your way home and get any food, treats, toys and accessories that you may need during the week!

Our new hours are:

Monday - Friday
10:00am-6:00pm

Saturday
10:00am-5:00pm

Sunday
11:00am-5:00pm

Hi!
I just wanted to reach out and introduce myself, and tell everyone how excited I am to have the honor of Kim trusting me and my husband Jack, to continue to keep Maggie’s Dog House an amazing place for all of you to still be able to purchase the most healthy food, treats and supplies for your pups. I feel so very thankful for this opportunity!

I would also like to wish Kim the most wonderful time in her well deserved retirement, after so many great years of making Maggie’s what it is today!

Now a little about me… dogs are pretty much my entire life (to put it mildly)!

I also own Shipyard Dog Co. in Hingham (doggie daycare, boarding and grooming), where I am blessed to be able to spend my time caring for and loving all of the wonderful pups that join us there everyday! So, when the opportunity came up for me to be able to take my love and experience of caring for dogs, to expanding that to also being able to provide them with all healthy and nutritious food and treats, to help them live longer and healthier lives, I jumped at that chance!

I am so excited for this journey, and I’m also so looking forward to meeting all of you (and of course your pups too… please bring them in!!!). 😁

I’m also happy to let you know that all of the wonderful employees that have been at Maggie’s, that you all have come to love over the years, will also still be there for you to stop in and chat with!

Hi Everyone!

I have been in the pet industry for 19 years and in Hingham with Maggie's Dog House for the last 17. It has been rewarding connecting with customers and the community through Maggie's during that time. However, it is not without a heavy heart that I am officially announcing my retirement. Though I will miss the many friendships I have built over the years, I am looking forward to more time with family and traveling.

I may be stepping away from Maggie's, BUT Maggie's will be here for all your doggie needs! Some of you may know the new owners already, Shanna and Jack from the Shipyard Daycare Co. (https://www.shipyarddogco.com). I have nothing but confidence that Shanna and Jack will be a wonderful addition to Hingham Square.

Again, it is hard for me to put into words how grateful I am for each one of you as it has been an absolute pleasure to be a part of the Downtown Hingham community.

I am not completely gone yet though! I will be in and out for the next few months helping to make the transition for Shanna and Jack as smooth as possible.

It's with a broken heart to let you know the passing of our beloved Brewster. I say "our" Brewster because he was your Brewster too. I can't thank you enough for all the loving he got from everyone that entered the store. We are so blessed to have him in our lives for over 12 wonderful years. The most loving sweet boy ever. I will miss you so much until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge. My love.
