We are so thankful for all our amazing clients and want them to stay happy and healthy today!
When the pancreas is overwhelmed it produces an excess of digestive enzymes that cause inflammation and irritation- which can in turn cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, decreased appetite, and abdominal pain in your dog or cat.
A number of things can cause pancreatitis, but when we see it pop up in your pets today and tomorrow? We highly suspect an overly fatty meal or excess fatty snacks as the culprit.
Remember your pet’s pancreas is not built for the glory of the Thanksgiving meal. Saying no to table scraps today = saying yes to staying healthy tomorrow.
Incidentally, tomorrow is referred to as “Brown Friday” in vet med circles- and trust us you don’t want to participate. 💩
We love you, have fun, and stay safe!
