This year we had a lot to be thankful for. All of the walks, the cuddles, the plays and the love. Especially the love. But above all, we’re thankful to be a place that is a second home, a happy place and a safe space for your pets when you can’t be with them. A very happy thanksgiving to all of our pet parents! The Team at Old Derby Animal Hospital looks forward to welcoming our clients back into the building beginning Monday June 7th. We require this additional time to ready the building for your return and to ensure that team members are able to achieve fully vaccinated status.

Beginning Monday June 7th, we will follow the latest state and CDC recommendations regarding mask and distancing requirements.

When entering Old Derby Animal Hospital, masks are recommended (but not required). Those who are not fully vaccinated are strongly encouraged to wear a mask and those who prefer to wear masks should feel comfortable doing so. Many of our staff will continue to wear masks in the building and we ask that you respect their choice to do so.

As we take these steps back towards normalcy, we ask that clients attempt to socially distance where possible. Please consider limiting the number of people coming to your pet’s appointment if possible, as our goal is to minimize time & people waiting in the lobby.

Examination rooms and surfaces will be disinfected between appointments and hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the hospital.

We are happy to continue to accommodate curbside appointments for those who request them or accommodate those who prefer to wait in their vehicle until your appointment time. Please call or text 781-749-2800 upon arrival to check in and we will come get you and/or pet for their appointment.

We thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we all navigate this time of transition.
