The only evidence I have of our Lobster Boil as I totally forgot to take photos! It's 830pm and I'm finally done cleaning these pots! I REALLY love when we host this, its such a fun event and I think the lobster tastes best when you can enjoy it in the fall fresh out of the pot, outside, and celebrating with friends. Ahuge shout out to my Brother, Tim Peterson, who never says no when I ask him to cook and help. This year I totally forgot to tell the Newbies the story about how it all came about. One year, I got tired of picking/putting away boarders stuff, so I said every time something is left out, you will have to pay $5 into a fund for a Lobster Boil at the end of the year, completely as a joke. So the fall came and I was asked when we were having it by several boarders abd they said they were happy to contribute.Its a tone of work, but well worth it!. I believe our last one was before covid, so I thought this year was about time. Many years we would have a regional party, celebrating the wins of the year and tying it in with an anniversary celebration. This year marks our 18th Anniversary on November 4th, so we'll just say it was an Anniversary Celebration. I'm so lucky to have been able to make this farm work with the continous help of my husband, Dominic Gagliardi.. I've been blessed with wonderful boarders that have come in and out of my life and sometimes back in, made many friends, loved many horses. I may be exhausted, but I am filled with gratitude that I am surrounded by such wonderful people.

Today we said good bye to the matriarch of the barn at 31 years Old. She spent nearly 17 years in my care and I had the honor of laying to rest, Nana Savannah. She spent her last days spoiled beyond compare, every boarder and worker giving an extra pat, cookie, or brushing. She was the kindest soul a horse could possibly have and took care of her owners as they grew up/ got older. She nurtured both Fiorella and Itza in the weaning process, was the best grooming buddy any mare could have. She aged gracefully, but we knew another winter would b e too much of a strain on her aging body. She will be greatly missed by all who knew of her, but her soul will stay at our farm forever. Until we meet again in heavens green pastures, rest easy now.

FOUND!!! OWNER FOUND HIM!!!
Missing dog near our farm off Lincolnway St.(73rd )in Hobart. His name is bandit. He's chipped with petlink, not from this area, was being watched by a friend while owner helped in NC. He got out from the Green acres Neighborhood. 73rd Ave. HHS has been notified as well as local vets. Please be on the lookout for him

Brand new, never used 4 burner grill with side burner. Purchased off Amazon for 265. We put it together and decided we needed a bigger grill for our family get togethers. $250 pickup in Hobart.

Eben though it's time to redo my landscaping, I love the barn colors the best in the fall. The burning dishes and striking green is so pretty!

My tractor always smiles at me...Ronson Equipment in Lowell is the best! They know I can't live without it for long, got me in and fixed in the timeframe I needed. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. Great service.

What a wonderful day we had at our show. A big thanks to Jessica Thomas Calvert whi judged our show. We had a little of everything today, from might rain, sun, and mist. Indoor this am, and outdoor this afternoon. Our judge even made good friends with Sydney the cat, so much so, we had to lock him up for much of the day to keep him from being a pest. At one point, he ended up visiting her in the outdoor judges box. We had many spectators and some lovely feedback from the competitors. I love supplying a safe place for people and horses to get show experience. Horses aged from 3 yrs old to 26. What a wonderful way to spend the day and how thankful we were to have had really nice weather following a hurricane! Thanks to all that came and we hope to see you again next year!

Ride times and schedule is up on https://www. horseshowoffice.com click on the September schooling show and the drop down shows up. know that you can click thru the (class schedule) for afternoon rides in the full sized arena,(ride schedule) for the morning short arena rides, and you can look up any rider times under ride time look up. It's a small show, no concessions this time, show starts at 9am and ends around 1:30pm. All am rides are short arena, afternoon will be training-3rd level.

Got a few calls yesterday for boarding. Boarding for a yearling. Anyone have a suggestion? Second person looking for boarding for 5 horse in the crown point area. Throw out some suggestions, thinking both would be a smaller private facility possibly? Turnout a necessity.
