Finished up the finale of spirit week with uniform Friday. The staff certainly enjoyed the festivities of the week and participation was great through all the daily activities! It was fun seeing everyone enjoying the week.

Our staff decided to have spirit week this week. Monday started off with crazy hair and sock day. It's always fun to see what they come up with!

Day 3 of Veterinary Technician week dawned with cool gift bags for each of the girls. They enjoyed the Mexican themed gifts packed inside. There may or may not be ingredients for margaritas that may be needed after a particularly busy or stressful day at the office....

Tech week began yesterday and we always have fun things and little gifts planned for all our amazing technicians. The week started with personalized back packs to hull all their snacks and treats to work with! They had them all filled with chocolate, the real tech fuel, by the end of the day.

RIP Canine Spike...you proved yourself time and time again. Being a part of a service K9s life and service and being responsible for the care and treatment of these special dogs is something every single HAC employee takes great pride in. Job well done K9 Spike...you deserve the rest.

Sometimes it gets super busy in pharmacy and even our pharmacy technician needs a little help. Just so happened we found a volunteer to help make sure the counts were adding up.

Holy smokes! Happy 30th workiversary to Kelly. She has been a staple part of the clinic in some many different roles and has seen the clinic grow and change over those years. Thank you for all the hard work and dedication! And here's to 30 more!

This week ends the careers of 2 very long tenured employees with Hobart Animal Clinic. To say that these ladies will be missed is an understatement for sure. They have been a fixture of the clinic for so long that their absence is certainly going to leave a big set of shoes to fill. We can not thank them enough for all the amazing things they have done for the staff, clients, and doctors over all these years. We know they are going to enjoy their retirement and wish them nothing but the best .

Last week saw the clinic celebrate National Veterinary Assistant Week. We couldn't function and do the things we do without all our amazing assistants. They are an integral piece of providing care for all our clients and patients. Thank you to all our Assistants!

Thank you to our friends at Coyne Veterinary Center in Crown Point for lunch today, and thank you to Dr. Matthew Szalay for coming to personally deliver the pizza to us at Hobart Animal Clinic on his day off. He was unable to find a pizza place to deliver due to the weather conditions and decided to make sure that our staff had lunch and delivered the pizza himself. The veterinary community is small, and we are thankful for all of the support. Thanks again Coyne Veterinary Center
