Shilo Ranch is looking for barn help!
We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking barn hand to join our team! If you have a passion for horses and don't mind getting your hands dirty, this could be the perfect job for you.
We are looking for someone with 2-3 days/week availability.
Responsibilities include:
-Lead horses to and from pastures/pens.
-Feed and water horses (hay, grain, etc.)
-Clean and maintain stalls and barn areas.
-Ensure horses have a safe and clean environment.
-Other general barn duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
-Previous experience working with horses preferred but not required.
-Ability to lift in excess of 50lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
-Comfortable handling horses of all temperaments.
-Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently or part of a team.
-Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

We are looking for barn help!
We are looking for people who have availability 2-3 days a week.
Duties include but are not limited to: Stall cleaning, leading horses in and out twice daily, haying, watering, graining, sweeping, putting hay in the loft during deliveries, etc.
Experience is not necessary, but is definitely a plus! The right individual would be someone who cares about the animals well-being, enjoys working in all weather conditions, and is a good team player.

Shilo Ranch will have 2 stalls opening up on August 1st!
We are a 48 acre, full service boarding facility located in Hobart Indiana.
We offer turnout 6 days a week Monday-Saturday weather permitting.
Stalls are cleaned 6 days a week and shavings are added as necessary, or at least once a week.
Horses are fed twice daily on a mixture of hay and 12 % pelleted fed as well as having access to a 23 acre pasture.
We offer both indoor and outdoor arenas for all weather conditions. We also have a round-pen to assist in training.
We have direct access to Deep River County Park and their trails as well as out own 10 acres of trails right out our back door!
Board is $425/month.

We are looking for help!
Sometime over the next couple of weeks we will need to hire some help to off load hay into our loft and outdoor storage shed. The field is not yet cut. Hoping to be cut within the next week or so.
