Congratulations to Holland Roukema and Irvin Varela on their Clarendon College Rodeo CHAMPIONSHIP in the Team Roping! Roukema and Varela were 12.7 seconds on two head and won the Short Round and the average.

Another congratulations goes to Evann Segura for her third place finish in the CC Breakaway Roping! Evann was 5.5 seconds on two head and finished third in the Short Round and the average.

Way to go, T-Birds!

It’s a great morning learning from Jana Bean, NFR Qualifier and well-renowned barrel racing trainer, in our Horsemanship and Performance Horse classes!

We promote versatility of disciplines in our program. Each student has different end goals, but a true horseman should understand all angles of the animal and the variety of purposes in our industry!

We are proud of our NMJC Equine students for their performance at the Horse Show at RodeoHouston this past week.

Two students qualified horses for the AQHA World Show held in November! Kyla Kelly won fourth and seventh out of 43 in the Open Breakaway Roping, qualifying both of her horses; Taiga Thorsteinsson won sixth out of 28 in the Amateur Breakaway Roping and qualified her mare. Congratulations!

Good luck to T-Birds Chase Skocdopole and Stran Pollitt, as well as alumni Tyce McLeod, Logan Bonnett, and Keely Bonnett, in the Short Round of the Team Roping at the Ponoka Stampede! The Short Round will be on Sunday, July 2nd. You can catch it on the CowboyChannel!

Can your two-year-old do this?

We are at the end of semester and with that comes final exams! Our C**t Starting class is completing their final today with judged round pen work, obstacle course and rail work on the two-year-old c**ts they started this February! Take a ride around with Chase Skocdopole and “Legs” to see how the obstacle course is done ✔️
