One of my female leachianus had an open wound under her neck from breeding. I separated her into a sterile tub and treated her for 3 weeks. I washed the wound every morning and evening with saline wash and treated with triple antibiotic ointment. The wound is now closed up and no longer requires treatment. She will need a few months for the skin to completely heal.

It is always good to keep an emergency supply kit when keeping geckos. Hopefully I can provide a full list of what I keep in my kit sometime soon.

I acquired this male in a trade about a year ago and have grown him out. He is almost to breeding size. No liniage available on him. His colors do look more tan when fully fired up but I've rarely seen him fully fired. He is pretty calm for me and easy to handle.
