The importance of vaccinating your pet
Keeping your pets up to date on their rabies vaccination will prevent them from acquiring the disease from wildlife, and thereby prevent possible transmission to your family or other people. Vaccinate dogs and cats against rabies as required by law. All dogs and cats more than four months of age must be vaccinated against rabies. Keep vaccinations current at all times. Keep dogs and cats under control.

Happy Cat Month! Amazing Cat Facts!
1. Cats are believed to be the only mammals who don’t taste sweetness.
2. Cats are nearsighted, but their peripheral vision and night vision are much better than that of humans
3. Cats can jump up to six times their length
4. Cats have 230 bones, while humans only have 206.
5. Cats have an extra organ that allows them to taste scents on the air, which is why your cat stares at you with her mouth open from time to time.
6. Cats walk like camels and giraffes: They move both of their right feet first, then move both of their left feet. No other animals walk this way.
7. Grapes and raisins, as well as onions, garlic, and chives, are all extremely harmful foods for cats. Grapes and raisins can cause kidney failure — although the reasoning behind that isn’t clear. Meanwhile, onions, garlic, and chives wreak havoc on your cat’s gastrointestinal system and can cause anemia.
8. A cat with a question-mark-shaped tail is asking, “Want to play?”
9. Cats are very fussy about their water bowls; some prefer to ignore their bowls entirely in favor of drinking from the sink faucet.
10. Cats can be toilet-trained.
