Hey hey. Feeling HUGE relief about a Facebook super sleuth success story…

We met Loni at a Nut Truck event in Oakland back in 2014, so she’s an old timer now. Loni just showed up in an animal shelter in IDAHO and wants to go home, but all the contact info on the microchip we implanted was outdated, dangit.

Thank dog, her person still uses FB and checks her messages - a shot in the dark that worked. Seems Loni got confused and wandered off their big new property (dementia may be at play), but her people are hopping on it and she’s going home today.

Thank you to Officer Melrose @ the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office Animal Control for keeping Loni safe and getting in touch. ❤️

Y’all! Don’t forget to update your microchip contact info as needed. And remember that dogs get confused and do surprising things just like many people do when they age. Protect your babies! Best wishes to Loni and her loving fam.
