Ziggy has seen the Easter Bunny in the fields at New Horizon Stables today!! Everyone needs to get ready to hunt for the eggs on Sunday. There are 2 Golden eggs that hold some really special gifts from Chamelon Browbands.

Our annual Easter STEA CT and HDS schooling show is coming up this Sunday.

We’ve heard the Easter Bunny will be attending 🐇 and there will be Easter eggs with amazing prizes all over the show grounds. So Adults and Kids get ready to find those Easter eggs. There will be Two Golden Eggs with an extra special prize in them.

The New Horizon Stables team had a fantastic time at the Texas Rose USEA horse trials. It was windy and was supposed to rain, so I dressed in full rain gear to keep the rain away…it worked!! 🤣

Shelby and Felix started their 2025 USEA show year off with a 5th in the Jr. Novice division.
Anna and Glory had their very first USEA show together ending up in 9th in the Starter division.
Kaitlyn and Ricky Bobby in his first USEA event learning how to navigate the crowded warm up areas and the big atmosphere. Ending an impressive 6th place in the tadpole division.
Heather and Denab are becoming a solid team together at Novice.

Love my team so much! They are always helping each other and so supportive of each other. ❤️❤️

Yesterday we had our March STEA CT show and annual St. Patricks Day costume class. The costumes were amazing and our judges, Debora Botting and Tristan had a hard time deciding on the winners. Thank you to Claudia for making a spectacular basket for the winner. Thank you Dover Saddlery Houston and Chameleon Browbands for giving such generous gift cards.

Our Volunteers continue to show up and support our shows every single show! We are extremely grateful to; Marike, Shelby, Crisse, Marilyn, Jennifer Owens, Robin Gray, Karen Eckert, Patty, Sue, Claudia, Anna, Kaitlyn, Kaylyn, Tristan, Makenzie, Evelyn and John.

Our annual Christmas 🎄 games and party celebration today was a blast. The rain tried to keep us away from the challenging Christmas game course, but NO we ran through the mud and slop 🤣
We love our barn family and are so grateful for each and everyone of you ❤️

Yesterday we crossed the finish line for our final show in 2024 🥳 The rain held off and it was a fabulous day ending with the kids having a super competitive Ride A Buck contest ($dollars not bucking horses 🤣) 🙌

Throughout the 2024 show year these shows are not possible without the generosity of our volunteers. The USEA Texas Rose horse show started this past weekend off with a literal bang when our truck decided to have a part blow up while cruising down I-45 🤦‍♀️ A few hours later we were all fixed up and made it safely to the horse park.

Then the FUN began with all of our riders having an Amazing time 🥳

Willow Schwartz and Finn started us off in the Modified Championships ending up Reserve Champion.

Shelby Owen and Felix competed in their first Novice Junior Horse trials together ending up in 4th place.

Jennifer Owens and Bandini competed in the Sr. Beginner Novice and ended up in 5th place. Bandini earned the award for most excited about cross country 🤣

Cece Hadcock and Grey competed in Open Starter in only their 3rd show together earning 6th place.

Rachel Clyde and Cruz were having such a fantastic time together on cross country they galloped right past fence 5 earning them an unfortunate TE, but they had fun anyway.

We did leave with golf cart envy from Cece’s grandfather and his adorable basset hounds 😍

Great riding this weekend proud of all of you! 🤩

We are so blessed to have this amazing weather for our annual Halloween show. Such a FUN day! All of the costumes were Incredible! Thank you to everyone who took the time to come out and show with us we really appreciate you.
