RECALL ALERT - Freshpet Inc. is announcing a voluntary recall of a single lot of Freshpet Select Fresh From the Kitchen Home Cooked Chicken Recipe (4.5 lb. bag), with sell by date of 10/29/22, due to potential contamination with Salmonella.

Here is a video of heartworm larvae "dancing" in a drop of a dog's blood. This is just one drop of blood. We calculated that there were at least 1.5 million of these things in this dog's circulatory system. Just another reason to have your dog tested for heartworm and to give them heartworm preventative all year round.
