Happy New Year!
As we go into 2025, and my yearly break comes to an end, I must make my beginning of the year post.
First: I’m not raising my base prices for 2025 so let’s just get that out of the way. However, I am putting in some guidelines.
1. Eight Week Rule For Doodles/Poodles:
All Doodles or Poodles that are over 8 weeks from previous groom will be assessed an “overdue charge”. Minimum $20/small dogs & $30/large dogs. Exceptions will be made for clients whose grooming routine is a complete body 10 blade shave down on their Doodles/Poodles.
Other breeds will also be assessed and “overdue charge” dependent on breed and condition…this will be discussed on an individual basis.
2. Fleas & Ticks
I will be strictly assessing a flea and tick charge. If I see them on drop off you will need to go home and medicate to kill them before returning.
3. New clients
I am to the point that I cannot take many more Doodle clients. This does not apply to my existing clients who get or add a new Doodle…I will always take a client’s new pup. Any new clients must be on a set revolving schedule.
4. Revolving schedule & appointments
Please consider a revolving set schedule, it’s best for everyone involved. The revolving schedule gives you the most convenient appointments for your schedule and keeps you on time. Right now I’m scheduling at least 2 weeks out for Doodles so keep that in mind. The time is nearing where I will require pre-booked appointments for all dogs, because my client list is almost maxed out.
