We are truly blessed with a huge amount of business right now!! Just to let you know, grooming is almost fully booked until July 9th! We have a couple of spots available on July 2 and July 3 so if you need an appointment soon, you may want to give us a shout because I expect those few spots to be taken shortly!
We have two spots available for boarding for the Independence Day holiday. I think those will be filled quickly also! Please call or text 770-900-2257 to make your appointment or reserve your boarding space!! Thank you!! We appreciate your support!

I try to remember to check the other one, but we are very busy and I can’t always remember to check! Thank you!
And you can always call me! Most of the time, I will get back with you within a few hours if you have to leave a voicemail. We appreciate all of you and we try to respond as quickly as we can!

I got 145+ Birthday wishes!! I thank each and every one of you for those wishes!! I tried to thank everyone personally but if I missed you, it was totally on me! Yesterday was crazy with getting mom settled for rehab, so please forgive me if I missed you. Thank you all for the love and kindness!

Latest update on my mama:

Depending on all her medical items checking out ok today, she will go to Florence Hand Rehabilitation Center tomorrow afternoon. Please keep her, myself, Jason and Gail in your prayers.
And please pray for Gail’s mom tomorrow because she’s having knee replacement surgery in the morning.

If you get a very impersonal message from me regarding mom, please do not be offended. I’m trying to let everyone who has called or texted what’s going on so far. I am trying to answer all the calls and messages, take care of her needs, take care of things at Country Critters, including having to reschedule or cancel some appointments. So I apologize for not sending personal messages. Also, if you choose to get mad and show your temper because I am having to reschedule your appointment, then so be it and your attitude is all on YOU! Yes this is my business and yes I care about all of you. But being nasty to me when my mom is severely injured is unacceptable. My mama is the priority right now. And a few days either way should not be that devastating to you. Sorry….i said it and I meant it and I won’t change it. If your pet(s) is boarding you have nothing to worry about. They are all being well taken care of as always.

This sweet, beautiful boy found a great forever home 🩵

Local folks I need your help! This sweet boy was found last night in the Hogansville area. He has no collar and no ID. He appears to be a baby. Very gentle, very sweet. Of course we are not certain, but he may have possibly been injured, but sadly, I’m thinking possibly abused and dumped, considering where he was found. If this is your baby or if you recognize him, please call me ASAP! PLEASE SHARE!

A very special photo that we received today! These two fur babies were at one time residents of Georgia and Skye’s Rescue. They were both adopted by a very special couple and are so happy in their new home!! They have lived in Florida for the past two years with their awesome parents! So…..we had an adoption today!!! Our sweet Cash, now known as Ash, short for Ashley, was adopted by my precious friend, Karen Mark Foster!! Ash will now live happily ever after with his new mom and his “sister”, Annabelle!! We are so excited, not only for Ash, but for his new mommy, too! Karen and I have been friends since we met in 8th grade. That means we have been friends for MANY years! Lol! Please help me send best wishes to Karen, Annabelle and Ash as they bond together as a new family!!

This has been on my mind for a few days! Parents, it would probably be a good idea to monitor what your children are saying on Facebook. My daddy would have whacked me on the backside if i had spoken to adults the way some of these children are talking to adults!!
Also, as a business owner with a Kennel License issued by the State of Georgia Department of Agriculture, I would suggest that you make sure whoever you are entrusting to take care of your pets for grooming or boarding is licensed by the state. It’s simply a matter of caring for your pets. You need to be absolutely positive those pets are being taken care of by a professional!

This sweet girl was rescued by a sweet soul….she was about to be dumped on a dirt road. We do not know her exact age, but she is still a tiny baby. This big guy is Bluey. He is a one year old Great Pyrenees mix and through no fault of his own, he needs to find a new home. He belongs to some friends and his dad is having some serious health issues and has become quite frail and his mom works full time and is dad’s caregiver as well. Hey everyone this is Gail, I just wanted to drop a line and ask everyone to please pray for Sandy tomorrow and Tuesday. Specifically Tuesday. We don't have the exact time confirmed yet, but she will be having hip replacement surgery sometime early Tuesday morning. Reily & Tuesday have everything in hand at the shop & I'll have Sandy in mine, as will God! We love you all and appreciate all your support and prayers... Gonna get our sweet lady back in 5th gear! Praise the Lord!

This girl was found today by a friend, in a deserted area. No collar, no identification. Unfortunately she was more than likely dumped. But my friend just couldn’t leave her behind. She can only keep the dog until Wednesday. If you recognize this girl, please contact me! Please share this post! Maybe we can find her owners!
