So this little sweetheart had her first vet appointment yesterday. She is HW negative (thank God)! She is of course overweight, but we have already been working on that! In basically good health. There are some concerns about a growth on her boohinney that needs to be removed and her teeth are horrible! She will be having surgery on 1/7/25 to remove the growth and have her dental. She will probably lose most, if not all of her teeth. We ask for prayers for Trixie that the growth will be non-cancerous. She was such a good girl for the tech (Ms. Patty) and for Dr. Ben Shelnutt! Keep us in your thoughts and prayers, please!

I am here to share a new friend with all of you!! This is Tilly and she is a 2.5-3 year old Black Mouth Cur. She has now found herself basically homeless due the hurricane. It’s just so sad! She is a great girl and in desperate need of a home ASAP! Her dad says she is a very healthy and sweet companion. He is willing to go to the vet and pay for a wellness check and vaccinations if needed. He simply wants Tilly to have a great home again! Apparently FB is not my friend today. Rosie the Bloodhound is 8 months old, not 18. She is very much a baby. I have tried editing the post at least 20 times and it’s not allowing me to edit from either my personal page or the CCPG

This is Rosie. She is an 18 month old Bloodhound that needs to find a home
ASAP! She is not doing well in a rescue environment! Please share so we can find her a home quickly. She is a great girl and very smart! Housetrained, crate trained, etc. She could use some help learning to better accept the leash walking, however she does pretty well on a long leash. I have been grooming without one of these for many years. I’m not going to name names, because I didn’t ask the person if I could, but you know who you are! I’m asking for your help today. We have 3 furbabies that desperately need a home. DJ (the black and white kitty) has been with us 730+ days. He is so loving and sweet. We don’t know his age but he is still young. He was not fully grown when he was dropped at our door.
Gabby (the gray female kitty) has been with us 1460+ days. A volunteer at the Grantville shelter asked us to help with placing her because she was abandoned in a house when the people moved and left her behind. We think she’s probably about 5 years old. She is a sweetheart also. Very loving and very talkative once she gets to know you. And she is a beautiful girl!
And lastly is our pretty green-eyed puppy. We think she is approximately 12 weeks old. She is so smart! She is quickly learning to go potty outside! Needless to say, she needs room to play and she needs someone to love her! She’s good with other pets! And so loving and…..did I say playful?!?!? lol!
Please share these sweet ones and help us find homes for them! It’s heartbreaking to see them in “doggie jail” and “kitty jail”!

These two sweet babies are in need of new home. Sadly, their current owner has become ill and she is no longer able to care for them. Dudley, the pug is 5 years old. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Bailey, the hound mix is 1.5 years old and has been spayed and up to date on vaccinations.
Both are house trained.

Male chihuahua found roaming the streets and highway. Please share to help find this baby’s people. He’s at Country Critters Pet Grooming & Skye's Rescue. I think we have had to rescue this little guy before. It’s a shame his people don’t leash him. He is going to get hit by a car or truck.

My sweet friend Barbara Sites has generously donated 3 baby blankets with matching hats that she made to be auctioned off with all of the money going to Kathy Doxiemom’s attorney for Operation: Bring Dixie and Savannah Home!
The Winners will need only pay their winning bid plus $5 to help Barbara pay for the postage to mail them out. She will pay for mailing supplies and any amount over the $5.
I will post pictures in the comments and when the bidding begins, please post your bid underneath the picture of the blanket & hat you are bidding on.
