A few days ago a hawk swooped down and grabbed a baby guinea and those adult guineas went postal on him and he dropped the baby. Wounded and shaking we took it inside to try and save it. An overnight stay inside and the baby was back ready to rejoin its family.
Yesterday morning everybody was raising cain so Warren went out kept a watchful eye on them. The guineas were out and about with a few babies getting somewater and here comes another hawk. Grabs a baby within 5 feet of Warren. He & all the Guineas go postal on this hawk and he drops the baby! 😳 Back to the guinea hospital inside for a few hours to recover and it is back out with the family. Those guineas are vicious and great protectors of their families 🥰
Remember Gilbert? Turns out it was Gilberta and something got her 😭😭.
This farm life is not for the faint of heart. I cried over a little tiny bird. 😢😩.
It never fails when Mother Nature throws you a curve babies are born. My Two Guinea Moms had two nest and hatched 10 babies during that nasty weather!
The eggs that didn’t hatch went in the incubator and we have a few more that hatched and will join this crew tomorrow.

Here we go again! 🤬 I am tired of people messing with property that doesn’t belong to them. Missing one little Skelly. They took two of them and threw one in the ditch! 😡. Bring my little guy back!!!
