It will soon be goat kidding season for us, with our three adult does due starting early-late March. Last spring we tested clean for CAE, CL, Q fever, and Johne’s), with any new stock bought coming from clean tested herds.
Our first doe to kid is our Alpine bred to Boer. She is a fantastic milker. Any kids she has will be available and can be pulled to be bottle babies.
Our second doe to kid is our Myotonic/Fainter bred to Boer. She is polled, is a heavy producer but does have 4 teats. Any kids she have will be available and can be pulled to be bottle babies.
Our last doe to kid is our NOA pedigreed Nubian bred to our purebred pedigreed Nubian. Both normal for G6S mutation, the doe is a heavy producer even with kids on her. Any bucklings she has will be available without pedigree. Any doelings we sell will be available for 50% grade pedigree.
