Hey, Y’all! Halo and the Holdenville Animal Shelter 2.0 will have dogs for adoption at the Block Party on Main Street from 11am til 1pm! We were invited to have our pups at THE LITTLE DOG CLOSET located at 117 East Main! Come adopt a fully vetted dog for $25 and save a dogs life! The more we adopt the more we can save!

This is CRUISE! He's a very special dog! He has GRADUATED OBEDIENCE SCHOOL in the New Leash On Life Prison Pen Pal Program at Allen Gamble Correctional Facility in Holdenville, He is neutered, UTD on shots, Heartworm tested and awesome! His adoption fee is only $25.00!
You can come and meet him at the Holdenville Animal Shelter at 1200 S. Hinckley St in Holdenville, OK. Next door to the Sanitation Dept and just south of the rodeo grounds.
CRUISE has lived most of his life in the shelter except for the 10 weeks he was a guest at the prison where he got to stay with his two trainers in his kennel in their cell. He is 1 year old, black and white Labrador retriever mix, might have some collie in there too.
Cruise gets along with other dogs and has a medium energy level. He is a happy, loving friend. Please come and adopt him!! You will receive a training book to keep up with the commands.

Must fill out and adoption app and provide drivers license or state issued ID, subject to approval.

This little girl😍is a parvo survivor💪🏻and available immediately✅️because we know she won't break with it. Her name is Mír🕊which means Peace☮️ in several Slavic languages.
She was picked up by a good Samaritan😇and treated👩🏻‍⚕️for parvo and now it's time for the happily ever after🏰
Best guess on breed is "cute nosed snuggle muffin"

For those who have inquired, the Holdenville Animal Shelter 2.0 was not hit by the tornado. So far we have taken in 7 displaced dogs and HALO took an injured Dachshund to Dr Hartfield’s Hartfield Veterinary Weekend Urgent Care clinic in Mannford, Oklahoma. The little pup has a broken rib and Dr Hartfield is keeping him with her to be on observation. We appreciate her help. Please keep all those affected by the tornadoes in your prayers. Thank you.
