To all of my treasured pet parents, hold your anxious ones tight and keep a sharp eye on them when outside. More dogs get misplaced on the 4th of July than any other day of the year! For most shelters, July 5th is the busiest day of the year.

🔥Ms. Esther🔥

🔥Esther🔥 is a beautiful blue-merle and white Australian Shepherd! Esther liked doing tricks for treats, patrolling the backyard, and playing with her Nerf gun!🔫 She is one of my "spice girls," because she's a little spicy before you get to know her! Like a Sour Patch Kid, first she's sour then she's sweet! 😂
But aunty Hannah loves her sweet Esther girl and always looks forward to seeing her! 🤍🤍🤍

🥎Libby🥎 & 🌟Bailey🌟

🥎Libby🥎 is a 5 year old chocolate lab! She loved treats, scritches, and FETCH! So so sweet and well behaved! 10/10 best retriever EVER!!
🌟Bailey🌟 is a 12 year old chocolate lab! She loved naps, treats, and b***y scritches! She was a great communicator, always knew breakfast, bone, and dinner times! 10/10 best puppy dog eyes 🥹, played me like a fiddle!

🪻Ms. Ginger🪻 is an 8 month old miniature Bernedoodle. She likes playing outside, taking puppy naps, and learning new tricks! I had the pleasure of watching her during the solar eclipse 😎☀️🌑. She is a grade A snuggler and as smart as a whip! 10/10 fastest zoomies in all the land! 🐾💨

I got to ring in the New Year with these lovely ladies 🥰🎉

I know that I am 5 days late, but I have been super busy sitting at so many new places with so many wonderful pets! I just want to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart! 🥹🤍
It is because of you all that I am able to stay busy doing what I love! I am so grateful for you and your precious pets!
I'm so excited to see what 2024 brings.

🥕Uno🥕, 🍎Ruby🍎, and 🍌King Chuck🍌

🥕 Uno, the black lab, loved going for walks, getting scratches, and his lamb chop!
🍎 Ruby, the Bernese mountain dog, loved getting pets, treats, and telling stories!
🍌 King Chuck, the King Charles spaniel, loved taking naps, following me around, and snuggles!

Today is
🌈Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day🌈

To pet owners like us, our fur babies are so much more than companions. They are just as much a part of the family as a partner or a child.
They are by our side through thick and thin. They're there when we close our eyes at night and there when we wake in the morning. They love us unconditionally and wholeheartedly.
So, when their time comes and they must cross the rainbow bridge, we grieve.
We grieve the loss of them in our lives. The loss of partnership and routine. The absence of their constant friendship and love can affect every aspect of our lives.
Like many of you, I too know the loss of losing a pet. But I would like to dedicate this post to two of my clients and their families:
Louie and Oakley.

I was blessed to have been given the chance to care for these two boys this past year and a half. For both, I was gifted the opportunity to care for them near the end of their lives. Watching both of these precious boys was a pleasure and a great honor that I will treasure forever.
I got to know them as individuals. I got to learn their quirks, likes and dislikes, and favorite itchy places. I knew their favorite treats, dinner times, and preferred napping spots. I sent pictures and communicated with their parents daily throughout my stay with them both.
After I left them and they both respectively made their final journey over the rainbow bridge, I was fortunate enough to have had the honor of grieving with their families. With both boys, I was graciously invited back into their homes and was able to give hugs and condolences. Stories were exchanged and tears were shed. To have been included in their grieving journey was an absolute honor.
I have been truly blessed to have met such wonderful, gracious, caring pet parents. I always know that the pets I watch are truly cared for and loved by their families.
I will never forget Louie and Oakley. I will never forget the kindness of their families. I will never take my time with them for granted. They were both such wonderfully sweet and gentle boys. I will be forever thankful to the beautiful families that shared their boys with me.

We've been having some really nice days (for us), but for our pets it may be a little too hot. 😎
I always like to place my palm flat on the ground and hold it there for 15 seconds. If it's too hot for my hand, it might be too hot for your puppers.

🍀 Sullivan 🍀

Sully, the sheltie, liked to play with all of his toys, run around super fast, and herd me up the driveway after our walks. 😂 Never out of energy and always down to play, Sully and I had a great time going through every single one of his toys! Such a gentle boy, 10/10 best Ninja 🥷(silent, stealthy, and could (literally) run circles around me). 🤍
