The dentist will be here at 10, so the horses are still inside this morning.

I try to keep a nice balance between weather and the horses - and usually get it right :) Last night, after falling into the grossness of spring paddocks, I had to go in and shower- and really should have went back out and brought the horses in as the wind really picked up in the night. If it is like this after my dentist appt this am, I will bring them inside for a few hours.

It's been six weeks of being offline, but TRS is back on FB :-) Don't forget, we have the equine dentist coming out this week. This is the one appt that you need to be here for. :-)

The horses will come inside this evening and probably stay inside all day tomorrow. :) If you see that your horse's water buckets is at only 1/3 full- that is intentional due to the extreme temperatures. We will refill to that level repeatedly through this cold. Please do not add water past that level this weekend. Thanks!

In the horse world, anything is possible- but not necessarily advisable. Tonight, Parker opted to put himself fully INTO the round bale holder so he could lie down for his dinner. Thanks, Audrey and family, for the quick eyes!

After 20 years, the wind has put a rip in the ceiling of the arena. We are putting out calls for estimates, but in the meantime, be aware that there could be new sounds in the arena to greet your horse.

Don and I are home today and watching the weather; we will bring the horses in before the rain comes this afternoon. The radar and the hourly are totally different, so we will play it by ear :)

The horses are tucked inside for the night, and there's a pretty good chance that they will stay in tomorrow. They'll be in much better shape than our roads with all this wind!
