Today, I was blessed with time to meet Cory and Dakota! Cory and Dakota are an inseparable pair who have had their fair share of hardships, it was an honor to gift Dakota a full grooming experience at the spa, some new toys, a new leash, and some basic first aid necessities to take care of a small wound and any other medical issues that might arise.

As we go into a season of wanting and listing our desires for Christmas presents, let’s not forget the true meaning of Christmas, remember that others are so grateful for so much less, and money is not the only commodity that is fun to give. We can give time, we can give our expertise, we can give our love, or simply we can give a smile. What does that cost?

The point is, none of us can ever run out of something worthwhile to give. Each and everyone of you dear friends, are valuable. 💕

Hey Folks! Just wanted to Share a Little Get to Know Me! I am Emma! I am the Owner and Groomer over at Tulip City Barking Lot!

I adore spending time with all the pets that come into my care and being able to pamper each and every one of them, I have been grooming professionally for 7 years and have 5 dogs (2 Bernese Mountain Dogs, an Airedale, a Border Collie, and a Schnauzer) of my own.

I was professionally trained at Paragon School of Pet Grooming and have regularly attended continuing education workshops and courses covering topics such as Caring for and Grooming Geriatric, Young Adolescent and Special Needs Canines, Creative Grooming, Holistic Canine Myo-Manipulative Therapy, Pet Safety it the Salon, and I also have my Canine Esthetician Certification.

I love teaching others how to care for their dogs. I consider myself a partner in helping my clients care for their pets at home between groom visits.

On the more personal side, when I am not grooming or at the salon I enjoy spending time with my husband, friends, and my family, thrifting, reading a good book, or starting creative projects.

Again..... thank you to all our loyal clints.... I prefer to call you friend since my life and Mary’s has pretty much been devoted to our clientele.. are we always correct and appropriate.. 😳?? Probably not. Do we love pets? How else could we have done this so long?? We have been training a new groomer for the past almost two years.. this is not a profession you learn in a 9 month course. She’s a quick study and took over for me when I had bilateral knee replacement. I got great report’s on her... thank you all. Please consider your small mom & mom 😉 shops for your grooming needs. Hi all, just want to say thank you so much for supporting us through this new normal 😜.. we really appreciate your support. I personally will be out of commission for awhile as I am having bilateral knee replacement tomorrow. Please keep supporting our shop.
