Rizz
Rizz has been here for a short time working on obedience. He had a nice start but I believe we’ve sharpened him up a bit.
Hank
Hank doing upland training. He’s been here for a month and goes home soon.
Hank
Hank has been here for a month for some upland training. Thanks to two special girls, Nora and Izzy, who let your boy spend some time with us. We were privileged to watch Izzy shoot a shotgun for the first time when she came to visit with her dad a couple weeks ago.
Ellie Mae
Little Ms. Ellie Mae, what a nice dog. We have changed her life. Steady and confident to wing and shot. Think she will make somebody pretty happy this fall,
Hank
Ole Hank a roo back for some upland training. We are working on the elements of being steady to the flush and shot. He is really doing some nice work.
Lucy Lu
Lucy Lu shows a bit of her age, a little immature. But she is gonna make a pretty nice pointing dog someday
Lucy Lu
Lucy Lu pointing a free planted bird. That bird flushed a foot past her nose….steady girl.
Lucy likes her work, think she will like it better when it isn’t 82 degrees
Ellie Mae
Ms. Ellie Mae doing her thing.
Lucy, Ellie, Max & Molly
Welcome to the gang - Lucy, Ellie, Max & Molly
Ellie Mae and Lucy Lu
Lucy Lu and Ellie Mae working together here. Not a perfect day with the heat and lack of scent. Not a perfect backing situation. But hey…we’re training.
Ellie Mae
Ms. Ellie came in with her sister Lucy. Ellie and I are working on her creep (prey drive), and chase. She is doing pretty nice after a few little sessions
Molly
Very warm day, no breeze and poor scenting conditions makes for very close points.
Molly is here to strengthen her point and limit the chase.
Lucy Lu
Lucy Lu returned following some spring training. The revved up tune up for some more experience has begun.
Ole' Max. We have him pointing, no creeping, and not rushing in on birds. Naughty Max...We're going to work on his steadiness to flush going forward, but man he is athletic.
Funday Friday with Hattie and her shot cripple.
Friday fun for Ruger with crippled birds
Max
Max working on developing composure from the holding blind to the line. He understanding this idea of being steady.
