I had the opportunity to judge an Upland Hunt test for St. Clair Flats HRC. Just a special place for me with a number of great friends. Thank you to all of the club members, gunners, helpers and judges who shared and started their Saturday at 4 degrees with us.

The highlight for me was running and reaching the 500pt milestone with Hogan, 500 at 5yrs. A dog I bought with some very nice genetics, sight unseen, while driving out to North Dakota. A short trip for the girls to Indianna and he was ours.

A very nice little hunt this afternoon with this stormy weather. Green Wing Teal on December 4th REALLY!!
We may have only scratched out a limit for one, but I really found enjoyment in watching this young girl Opal pick up, learn and negotiate all the obstacles. Thanks for allowing me to be involved in her training.

A beautiful place if you like the big prairie, dust and ducks. A great trip. I was surprised on Sunday by the early arrival of our granddaughter. I can pack up and scuttle for home pretty quick.
