August is a great time to reseed your lawn. Allowing it plenty of time to grow with the heat of summer and establish a good root system before the winter. So many of our customers are cat lovers and come in bringing their kids and grandkids just to find our store cats, Cocoa and Boots.

Then there are others who come in who are surprised that we carry such a large selection of cat products, cat litter in particular.

Our final Meet the Staff Monday feature employee is Gwen!
Gwen has been an employee at Piers for almost 18 years! Over the last few years, she has become a staple in our Thursday schedule to help with our inventory shipments and customer service. We love her sense of humor and infectious laugh! Gwen has a wealth of experience in both our store and on the farm she and her husband run in the Zeeland area. On the days she is not here she is taking care of her grandkids.

Congratulations to Lilly Nyland for earning the top spots in the Lamb show at the Ottawa County Fair! She swept the show earning the Champion Senior Showman, Grand Champion Ewe, and Grand Champion Wether. Well done Lilly!

These lambs were fed Umbarger Top Choice 19% Lamb Feed and Purina High Octane Ultra Full Supplement.
