🐾 Bonded Pair Alert: Meet Missy Lou & Little Bit! 🐾
These two adorable Chihuahuas were recently surrendered together, and our hearts can’t handle how sweet they are. 💛
✨ Missy Lou – 7 years young and full of personality! She adores her toys, playtime, and snuggling under the covers like a little burrito.
✨ Little Bit – a 5-year-old long-haired Chihuahua mix who melts in your arms. He loves being held like a baby and would choose cuddling over anything else in the world. 🥹💞
These two share a beautiful bond and we hope will be adopted together. They comfort each other, play together, and are truly a package of love and loyalty. 🐶❤️🐶

Meet Pumkpin! 🎃🍂This sweet girl is 9 years old and looking for her forever home. Pumpkin can be shy at first but instantly opens up with some good head scratches! She prefers a gentle demeanor and loves to keep you company. Pumpkin is oh so soft and cuddly! She recently got a lion’s cut and is feeling so much better. We are so happy for James and Sophie, and their forever family! See below for a wonderful update from their owner!

Quick update on Sophie and James! James is now at a svelte 33 lbs and this morning completed a 5 mile hike. In hot weather, 1/2 mile is plenty, but apparently on a 30° AM, he loves to trot 😀. Have taken a couple of test camping trips with them & they did great, although equestrian campgrounds are probably out because Sophie is NOT a fan of horses. Leo is FINALLY starting to play more with Sophie. It has taken a while for my herder to understand he can be chased instead of always being the chaser 😉
Thank you again for letting g me adopt this goofy duo.

✨KITTEN ALERT!✨
Only 5 of these beautiful black kitties left! 2 are girls and 3 are boys, and they are between 7-8 months old.
These babies have all the energy in the world and love to be let out of their kennel to run laps around the shelter! They are huge cuddle bugs as well. When we walk into their kennel, they flood you with the loudest of purrs and head bonks! These kitties will make a great addition to a home with other cats, young kids, busy or quiet households. We are unsure how they would do with dogs. Fill out an application on our website to set up to meet these sweet babies before they are all gone!

Today we celebrate awesomeness! These 3 ladies in this picture are (on your left) Rebecca Bochenek, from Maddie's Playhouse-Holland, MI, next is Kris Norvell, and me, Michell Kenat. We all are hard working and dedicated but today I want to shine the spotlight on Becca! Becca is a shining example of selflessness and compassion, dedicating her life to helping numerous people and causes! Her business of dog walking, doggie daycare and more is a testament to her commitment to giving back to the community. Becca generously donates her hard earned pay to various rescues in our area, touching the lives of many! We've all been blessed by her kindness! Recently Becca surprised us by gifting the volunteers at BestPals with new t-shirts, boosting our spirits and reminding us of the joy in giving! We'll be sharing pictures of us all in our new shirts soon. Besides her generosity Becca is always willing to lend a helping hand, going above and beyond to support those in need. I asked if she could help us identify our driveway and she beautifully painted our flower pots with 'BESTPALS RESCUE' and is repainting our old sign. Becca is quick to offer help, whether it's posting, taking pets to the vet or walking challenging pups. We feel incredibly fortunate to have her as part of the BestPals family. We know she'll continue to inspire and uplift all the rescues and shelters in our area! Let's celebrate this remarkable woman! Thanks, Becca!
