Meet Teddy, a courageous little Jack Russell boy who's only 3 yrs old. He was adopted by an elderly man as a puppy. Unfortunately, his owner had an injury and can no longer care for him. Teddy is feeling shattered. Having lived a sheltered life, without much socialization, he's finding it hard to trust. Since this video was taken, Teddy has taken a significant step forward, visiting our vet, getting neutered, and receiving all necessary shots. We've also had the privilege of working with Erin Smith at Macatawa Dog Training . It's become clear that some breeds are more sensitive than others and Erin is showing us ways to earn his trust. BestPals is committed to helping him overcome his fears, introducing him to new dogs and people everyday. We're reassuring him that we're here to support him, and we're celebrating his small victories. We want him to know that there's a vast, loving world waiting for him. We'll keep you updated on his progress and begin searching for a patient, loving home where he can thrive.
