A nice set of 13 premium registered Angus first calf heifers, front pasture kind, good minded and docile, top end genetics. No corners were cut developing and putting together this fine set of heifers. Been exposed to being worked horseback, afoot, or with dogs. Very cake broke, easy to pen and can walk through them calmly.
Bred to a good proven registered Angus Bull, a nice son of G A R Sure Fire, LBW, tested with HD50K DNA test, with good calving ease. EPD’s can be provided.
Vet checked bred and booster vaccinated with VIRASHIELD 6 + VL5, 7 way, and dewormed, on 4/7/2025. Will calve starting the first of September, 2025 for 60 days. $4,000. each

The keeping pen was in full relax mode this morning lol!

As gentle as they get, the cattle and the horse! The older I get the more I can accept both!

Grazing plus maintaining our native pasture compared to not grazing or maintaining native pasture. We need to finish clearing the dead trees but the work pays off!

On our morning walk. They don't always get to run around like wild heathens. We sometimes practice some obedience.

Update- SOLD Registered Angus Bred Heifers $3,000. each A nice set of 25 premium, front pasture kind, docile, registered Angus first calf heifers. Bred to registered top genetics Angus Bulls, that are LBW, tested with HD50K DNA test, with good calving ease. EPD's can be provided. Vet sonogram and booster vaccinated with VIRASHIELD 6 + VL5 , 7 way, and dewormed, on 9/12/2023. Will calve starting the first of February for 60 days. 22 sonogram for earlier calving and 3 for later calving. Dog broke, horse broke, cake broke and will lead anywhere. Website www.boydranch.net
