Results are in from the Oklahoma Betta Breeders Association show held this last weekend. I won 8 first places, 5 seconds, 3 Reserve Best of Varieties and 1 Reserve Best of Show! Woohoo!! First photo is Reserve BOS for a Super Black female and second photo is my Red Copper Feathertail male that won 1st in the Breeders Division male class and a Reserve BOV.

I have a few threads created. https://allstaraquatic.freeforums.net/ It takes some time for me to get the site going. On a really good note, (for me anyway); I picked up a new fish store account today. The owners wife breeds Guppies and they are going to make an order tomorrow. One of my existing accounts was bought out by an employee of the store and she wants to make a big order too. Mostly Bettas but she'll probably order some of my Cichlids and Shrimp as well. Woohoo!

Woohoo! Results from the Oklahoma Betta Breeders show held this last Saturday have been posted on the International Betta Congress page. I sent 30 of my best Bettas and won Eighteen 1st places, Eight 2nd places and One 3rd place. I won Best of Variety in C class for my Crowntail male and one for my Crowntail female. A Reserve BOV for my Purple Halfmoon male entered in the pairs class and two other RBOV for a Grizzled Halfmoon female and a Pastel Traditional Plakat female. Sweeeet!

I've been working on this project for about 5 years now. Here is one of my F-5 Gold Fader Kamfa Malau and a brother that is starting to fade. F stands for filial or generation so this is 5th generation. Watching them go from dark to light while they fade or peel is half the fun.

I think that Peta and the Humane Society International don't want you to have so much as a Guppy for a pet. They are trying to ban any and all animals as pets. I believe that within 8 to 10 years the tropical fish import trade will be completely shut down in Florida and soon to follow all other states. Then pet stores will have to rely on private breeders like myself until they shut us down too.
