Happy Valentine’s Day from these furry paw-lentines at THR🩷🌹 Todays doggos started their day by working hard on their recall while inside and outside the center!🐕 They spent their afternoon practicing bite work with their favorite tug toy or wrestling out in the snow with their friends!🐩

Thursdays pups didn’t let the winter weather dampen their fun during their training sessions today!🌧️ These doggos did an outstanding job during their group sessions where they held place while being surrounded by all kinds of distractions!🎾 The little ones burnt off some energy during their playtime this afternoon while the other dogs zoomed around the agility equipment!🐶

Wednesdays wonderful doggos aced their indoor and outdoor training sessions today!🐶 The pups pawfectly practiced their sit, stand, and down commands while on and off the place cot!🐕 They also burnt off some steam out in the play yard while they romped through the snow with their friends!🐩

Tuesdays terrific pups did an excellent job during their indoor and outdoor training sessions!🐕 Outside the dogs rocked their recall and in-motion sits and downs in the snow!☃️ Inside they worked hard on their holding commands while being surrounded by tons of distractions!🦽🛴

Happy Monday from THR’s snow lovin’ doggos!☃️ Today these pups rocked their recall out in the back fields and had a blast zooming through the snow!🐩 The dogs warmed up their frosty paws with some fun trick training such as up, bow, and rebound!🐕

Happy Friday from our pawfect pack of pooches!🐾 Today these doggos worked hard on their in-motion commands as well as their retrievals while outside in the snow!❄️ The pups also did an excellent job with their “look” command while indoors and outdoors🐶

❄️We are very excited to announce the winner of our January dog photo of the month contest, Tank!!❄️

Tank is a very handsome 7 year old long-haired German Shepherd who has been a part of the THR family since he was just a tiny puppy!🐶 Tank began his training with our Puppy 101 class to learn the basics and work on socialization. After completing some Bump Up days, he went through our pinch collar and e-collar programs to solidify his obedience. Tank has also completed our Therapy Dog Prep and Agility Classes to add to his long list of training accomplishments!🐕‍🦺 He now attends regular Bump Ups with his brother, Bear, to keep all of his training in tip top shape!

Our THR family wanted to share some important updates happening. As some of you may know, our incredible weekend supervisor, Kat, has decided to pursue her passion for animals further by going back to school to deepen her knowledge in animal science. Kat has shown immense dedication to her work, and we are all grateful for her contributions since she joined our team in 2022. While we are sad to see her go, we are excited for her to take this opportunity. Kat has also expressed interest in returning during school breaks, which we truly appreciate!

With this change, we are happy to announce that Jocelyn, one of our Bump Up Day trainers, has accepted the weekend supervisor position. She is enthusiastic about this new role and aims to ensure that the weekends run as smoothly as they have under Kat’s leadership.

Kat and Jocelyn, you are both vital members of our team, and we wish you the best as you embark on these new chapters in your lives!
