Some collar conditioning in the snow. Vi was only introduced with a continuous tone for recall. The vibration or stimulation was not used at all. Remember when introducing new equipment to be fair and make sure that the puppy understands what the desired behavior is. To do anything else would be completely unfair to him. He’s such a psychopath 🤪

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted on here, but Vidar’s training has amped up since the conclusion of tracking season. He’s coming along great and will be introduced to tracking very soon 💪🧡

It’s like Christmas morning is approaching for us and all of the regions tracking teams. The anticipation gets our blood flowing just as much as the hunters. Some more advice for y’all.
1. Have toilet paper or flagging tape with you to mark hit sight and any sign. Hang it on nearby branches.
2. Take GOOD PICS of any sign and fletching
(all 3 vanes) Please take your arrow out with you and don’t clean it)
3. Call as soon as you feel uneasy about what just occurred. Call from the tree if needed
4. PLEASE listen to a trackers advice and follow it. RESPECT WAIT TIMES!!!
5. Be patient with us. There is never a rush and time is on our side.
6. Be Honest
Our availability for this season has increased since my retirement from the state. If we can’t get to you, I’ll put you in touch with another qualified team.
We have a multiple dogs in training that need known dead deer. Contact me if you’re willing to help.
If possible collect the hooves for us from your deer, keep them paired separately and freeze them right away if possible. I’ll come collect them when available.
Tips/Donations this season for us. However, anything over 25 miles will be assessed a small fuel fee to cover some travel.

We will lead the fight against those types of groups trying to enter Pennsylvania, we have a great thing in this state and it WILL stay that way. This is why we are not supported by groups who are trying to capitalize on trackers backs‼️ YOU are the one out there busting your ass training a dog, YOU are the one spending your gas money driving to tracks, YOU are the one paying for the repairs on your vehicle when it breaks‼️ Nobody should make a dime off of your tracks besides YOU‼️‼️‼️ It’s time to wise up and tell those snakes to go make their own money‼️ YOU shouldn’t be giving a piece of the pie to them to put their ugly banners in your photos with the deer that YOU and YOUR DOG find‼️

Imprinting with wounded game scents has commenced.
His relationship is going great with Dexter
He brings the perfect level of chaos and is a perfect fit for our pack
