But really, yearly dental cleanings are important for your pet's long-term health. Our pets can get the same dental issues you can, such as:

Happy belated birthday to Katy Rockett! 🎉

Katy is one of the newer additions to our team and we couldn't be happier to have her on board! Today, she worked with Waffles, a spicy little kitten with a lot to say. Luckily, Waffles didn't have too many complaints as Katy made sure her blood draw was as quick and comfortable as possible. And it's not just pets that she's good with, she always brightens our days with her positive attitude and ability to find the fun in everything. We hope she'll stay with us for years to come! 🚀❤️

Most people walk their dogs, but did you know that many cats enjoy walks, too? They can actually reduce or even completely eliminate stress for those cats who like walks, so long as it is incorporated into their daily routine. Going on walks together is also a great way to keep your feline companion fit and healthy!

When going on walks with cats, you should always use a cat harness that fits snugly and never let them off their leash. You should also start slowly by introducing them to the harness and leash and getting them used to wearing them before trying to bring them outside. Let them lead the first few times to get used to going out, but remember to keep them out of trouble, too!

Today's winter weather advisory may have you wondering how you can keep your pet safe and comfortable in the snow. There are a few things you can do for them during this time. Even if they have a thick coat, they should never be left out in the cold. Bring your pets inside today and tomorrow and give them a warm place to rest. When bringing them inside, make sure to thoroughly towel dry them and wipe their feet every time. If you have a dog, you can apply petroleum jelly to their paw pads or put them in pet booties before going out to help keep snow and salt from irritating their paws. We wish you and your pets a safe snow day! ❄️
