This beautiful momma had her vet appointment today where she was cleared for breeding and her first progesterone test resulting in a 6 which means she is ovulating! We plan to breed on Wednesday via Trans Cervical Insemination from the poodle stud Louie who lives in TX! TCI has a little higher chance for pregnancy than regular AI so fingers crossed for us that the breeding takes. A new YouTube video will be posted next week showing the whole process!

I pick up Piper this week as well, she is our new hopeful red tri mini aussie momma! She is still young so she will need to go through health testing and still needs some time to mature. She is still looking for a guardian home!

Okay Yall, the time has finally come, Miss Scarlett is in heat and mature enough to breed this cycle. She has cleared all her health testing! I got Scarlett 2 years ago in hopes of adding a calm tempered, low drive, mid size, family friendly aussiedoodle to my program. Scarlett is genetically Merle but breeds as non merle due to her short merle allele. After doing more research into what male would best compliment her I have changed the stud I planned on breeding her to. I am now pairing her with Louie he is a gorgeous blue merle phantom moyen poodle.

This is why health testing is so important. Pairing 2 merle dogs together can result is severe health problems for the puppies. Just looking at Scarlett you would never know she is merle. Even though she breeds as a non merle, it is important she is paired with a dog with little white and a shorter merle allele among other genetic markers. I expect a rainbow of colors from this pairing including reds for the first time!

Puppies will be around 30-35lbs and will be low-non shedding. They will have wonderful dispositions. I have been dreaming of this litter for some time! I only have ONE more female spot open at this time.

Sweet Allie was confirmed not pregnant this afternoon. With Artificial Insemination the chances for pregnancy is a tad lower, timing has to be exact (especially when the sample is collected and shipped) and I think we were just a day or two off.

That being said we will try again on her next heat cycle in the spring and if it still doesn’t take I will spay her, and she will retire.

I am very bummed but also know everything happens for a reason ❤️ The picture below is Allie’s daughter Sooki (previously Petal) she has just passed her genetic testing and will be a momma for us when she turns 2!

We find out if Miss Allie has buns in the oven next Tuesday! Meanwhile we are still waiting for Sequoia to come back in heat, which should be this month! Scarlett is also due to come in heat, hoping the girls give me some time inbetween litters!

I have scheduled Allie's ultrasound to (hopefully) confirm pregnancy August 19th! Right now we are also waiting for Sequoia and Scarlett to come in heat. Sequoia will be having F1 mini (20lbs) Aussiedoodles and Scarlett will be having medium (25-35lbs) F1b Aussiedoodles! I have added some pictures of some of our past F1b aussiedoodle pups!

Allie came to stay with me for a few days while getting her progesterone tested. I took her back to her guardian home yesterday and her dad sent me this. I think Sooki missed her momma! Sooki (pending health testing) will be a momma for us ina few years! Two peas in a pod.

Look at Miss Birdie! She got her first big girl hair cut. I cannot get enough of this litter they are just prefect! We will have F1 minis this winter, get on the list today!

Miss Olive is settling in wonderfully in her new guardian home! I cannot get over how gorgeous this girl is! I am so excited to have the standard size back in our program.
