✨ EMPLOYEE PET SPOTLIGHT ✨ Hope everyone had a purr-ific holiday! Today's pet is Dakota, a 14 year-old Doberman that belongs to one of our (many) Jennifers up at reception. 😉

Dakota has been with Jennifer since she was 8 weeks old. Like any typical Doberman, she loves nothing more than running and snuggling. Her biggest enemies are blankets and thunderstorms.

Dobermans were first known as "The Tax Collector's Dog" in the 1800s, when a German tax collector Louis Dobermann bred them to protect him as he collected taxes. Today, they are one of America's most popular working breeds. Dakota would be the first to tell you she is happily retired! 😊

What better way to celebrate a Friday than with some sugar and spice? Meet Jenny's pets: sweet cuddle bug Katie, an 8 year old golden who was rescued from Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue, and Bam Bam, her reluctant senior roommate.

Bam Bam (aka Bad Boy) was surrendered to us when his owner couldn't care for him anymore. Despite his prickly nature, Jenny took him in and he's been running the house ever since. 😉 He has his own room, has claimed the garage as his man cave, and reminds Katie every day that she's second on the totem pole!

✨EMPLOYEE PET SPOTLIGHT✨ This week's diva is Bunny! Dr. Snyder found her as a kitten and she was eventually a foster fail for one of our technicians, Natalie.

Bunny is thought to be a Siberian Forest Cat, which is a Russian breed that has been around for thousands of years. Her favorite activities are chasing after springs, bird watching, and sleeping on her mom's pillow to steal all the warmth. *Our* favorite thing about her is that she's a little bit cross-eyed! 😇
