The puppies got gifted their take home toys this morning, so they could put their scent on them to be a source of comfort on their journeys home!
Hopefully they are still in one piece…they are very enthusiastic in their toy play! (Maybe a trait they get from mama Bee…)
Thank you Auntie Kelsey 💕
These pups have done so well with their obedience, agility & leash skills!
We definitely have had to get creative stuck inside, but we’ve made the most of it!
Hopefully this foundation serves them well with their new families!
Pick-ups begin Saturday. I’ll be filled with happy and sad emotions, but I know each pup is going home with a wonderful family, and I’ll get lots of adventure updates 😁
They all officially have their families now! It’s a happy, sad moment for us as we look forward to all the joy they will bring their new people, but also will miss our daily interactions with them.
Each time I meet so many wonderful people who become our extended family. I wish I had another puppy or two because there were more deserving families than I could accommodate this time. Hopefully next litter they will each get their pup!
We will definitely cherish the last 2 weeks with them 💕
So where are they all going?
Buzz is headed to IL where he will be a very much loved member of his new family (they have waited a whole year for him!) and they hope to do scentwork & tracking events.
Big Bird gets to stay close and will go to a nearby family hear in MI who has fallen in love with CDs (they too have waited a year for this!). I’m excited at the chance to see him as he grows.
Sting will also be in MI on a co-own with a fabulous person I’ve met through dog shows. She’s had several conformation champions in other breeds and I’m excited to see what she’ll do with her first CD in the ring and in sports too. Hopefully one day Sting will get to pass on his genetics!
Raven going to enjoy lake living in IN, and I’m sure she’s going to showered with love and attention. She’s showing a lot of a potential as a sport dog, so maybe she’ll nudge her family into some new sport experiences.
Bumble will be the second Full Circle CD in Florida! He’ll be joining a family where he’ll get his very “own” boy as his forever human who loves running sports!
Tweetie gets to travel the farthest to Texas! She’ll have cat siblings and her new mom hopes to try some sports like scentwork too.
And last, but not least, my husband has yet again fallen in love with a puppy. Last time it was his prince and this time it’s his princess. Little Miss Honey Bee has literally claimed her forever spot here in our pack. Let’s hope we can all handle her big
It was a sick day for the humans here but that didn’t stop the puppies…hopefully us humans are feeling better and able to keep up with them tomorrow :)
Puppies had their second outside adventure today! Here’s to hoping we have more opportunities this week since the Arctic cold spell is breaking.
Skills training is going well. Very basic for now, but by the time they go home, they’ll likely be doing a little course following a treat lure 😁
Wobble board wars! Maybe they’ve been watching too much football 🤣
They’ve also gotten supervised playtime with the big dogs this past week.
Georgia matches them best so far in her play style.
It’s hard to believe Georgia and Dito were only 1 week old this time a year ago! Time flies and they grow too fast!
After their baths they were blow dried and toweled off. Big brother Dito supervised!
This week they were also introduced to the nail Dremel. All responded with curiosity and no concern.
The pups also recently had their first baths. All of them were very cooperative!
Volume up! These guys have adapted very well to a variety of “scary sounds” that we play each day.
They also are now sporting “big dog” collars!
We had a “heat wave” of over 30 degrees with sunshine so the puppies got to go outside for the first time for a few minutes yesterday. They summoned up their bravery and faced the cold and new steps with determination. I think they even had a little fun ;)
