This little girl is the smallest of our Fuego PSA2 x Amara PDC BH litter, but don't let that fool you she has some spice to her! She has high food drive and is very social and handler oriented with good environmentals. Loves to bite and would make a fun little sport dog with an off switch.

Train your dog because you love it. Don't train in order to be liked or popular. It's not about you. It's about the dogs!

The sport dog community isn't always friendly and out to see you succeed. There are some AMAZING people out there in the sport world that have been great assets to many, but lots of times people nowadays thrive on negativity.

Stop trying to train only for the Instagram photos and videos so everyone likes you. You will always have people who don't like you, even if you've never done them wrong.

I've been told that I'll never be relevant no matter what I did. It didn't phase me though. You know why? Because I'm not training or breeding to become relevant. I'm doing it because I LOVE the dogs, I LOVE the breeds I have that I'm trying to preserve, and I LOVE the sport and the training process. Whether I'm relevant or not doesn't matter to me. I'm going to keep doing what I love with the dogs I love 🥰 it's not about me. It's about the dogs! Happy training!

Little lime girl left today to embark on her PSA journey with her owner in NC. She will also enjoy hiking and having a doberman brother to play with. Her name is still getting decided, but she did great on the trip back home from MD! I'm so excited to see what they accomplish together! 🥰 Do big things pretty girl!

Excelling in working “Off breeds” in protection, Drew Fischesser is the “other half” of Benchmark Dobermans. Drew is largely responsible for the dogs’ development and imprinting from puppyhood to adult. His specialty is also problem solving training issues.
Drew is a PSA certified senior decoy with over a decade of training and trial experience, has been national select decoy, has titled multiple dogs in PSA, earning a PDC on his Doberman, Zelda, a PSA1 on his Doberman, Ivan, and a PSA2 on his Cane Corso, Brutus. Drew and Brutus even competed in the level 2 at a PSA nationals, making it to the podium! Along with his personal dogs, he has successfully built and developed a huge variety of client dogs, and trained several other decoys.

We started her career training in IGP, but due to a tendon injury she had to retire from that sport and we recently switched to PSA (Protection Sports Association). - Fuego is extremely intense in both obedience and protection. He has high food drive, high prey drive, high defense, high hunt drive, high energy, and high ball drive. He is extremely versatile and smart. He is confident in any and all environments and very reliable. He is friendly and neutral to both female and male dogs, and people. He is very civil and would excel in any protection sport. He is extremely clear-headed, and can drive channel amazingly. He is smaller in size, but that allows for his flying entries. He can handle extreme pressure and has never had any issues with anything shown to him. He is a very serious dog and matured very quickly. I love his barking because such deep, rhythmic barks can be hard to find in a Dutch Shepherd. He has a lot of obedience drive and easily channels between obedience and protection with a clear head.

It's below freezing outside, so what do we do with the puppies? Take them outside for hunting games! Find the food hidden in the play yard! Tight spaces, dark areas, in bushes, and in far corners. Whoever is the best at hunting, gets the most! 😈

We received everyone's Embark DNA results as well as their UKC registration in the mail today! Official puppy evals scheduled for the 23rd as we are getting closer to go home day!

The puppies graduated to their larger 6 week indoor set up in the puppy nursery! They are doing great with keeping clean and using the litter boxes, so they get more space! They still get multiple outside sessions in their play yard as well but all puppies here are raised in our home right next to a bed I sleep in, and start learning how to live in the house before leaving here.

Little pink collar female showing us her personality! Listen with sound on. Does it sound like we are in the middle of Manhattan? That's because the sound track that's playing is! We are always playing different noises on surround sound in the puppy nursery for exposure and desensitization purposes. Things like city noises, construction noises, fireworks and animal noises are playing off and on throughout the day.

Some puppy camera time of the monster litter enjoying the new fit bone obstacle added to their pen. They love climbing and balancing on it. They turn 4 weeks old this weekend!

First intro to food and I think they are fans lol

Today's noise for noise desensitization during feeding time is fireworks! Once their ears open we start playing a variety of noises throughout the day to desensitize the puppies to.

Just some Friday night puppy cuteness. They turn 2 weeks old tomorrow! Already starting to get a little bitey.

Pepper (purple collar female from the spicy litter) went Rat hunting instead of Easter egg hunting today 🤣🐀 Her versatility, clarity, drive and the way she thinks things through is incredible. 16 weeks old today, first time trying barn hunt and she is already doing searches off leash ignoring litter tubes and hitting on rat tubes. Yellow collar had a fun day getting an intro to some discs with Chrissy Joy 🥰😍 This little girl has great drive, good grips, is super social with everyone she meets with a nice off switch.
