Whew weβve been super busy here lately! Between training some amazing client dogs, training our own working dogs and traveling to PSA worlds competition to watch some amazing teams, I feel like weβve slacked on posting updates!
Hereβs a fun video of our own dog, Pepper, getting introduced to the tunnel in training. Iβd say she likes it!
We are also still taking dogs for training over the holidays!

This is Benji! He came here for our board and train program to address his pretty extreme reactivity to dogs and other animals. His owners had tried multiple trainers and still could not bring him out due to his reactivity.
Check him out now after his first week here with us! This is why we do what we do! After this, Benji will be able to enjoy life with his family and they will be able to enjoy walks with him more!
Raven the sweet and sensitive girl finishes her training today! Raven came here from The Humane Society of Charles County The Humane Society of Charles County to get some help with her confidence and training. She was extremely shut down and didn't trust anyone. Raven had a very hard time walking on a leash or following lead as she wanted to just lay flat on the ground and crawl she was so scared when she arrived. During her time here we worked on building her trust in humans as well as her confidence. She is still a very sensitive girl and has a ways to go, but she is now able to perform her obedience commands and work around distractions without shutting down! She is seeing that she can trust her handler to make decisions for her and that nothing bad is going to happen. Check out her final video working around cats, barking dogs, chickens and even a peacock! All while holding her stay! Stay takes confidence and trust especially for a nervous girl like Raven. I'm so proud of you Raven and someone will be very lucky to adopt you.
Check out board and train pup, MIKO! He's learning to ignore other animals and be a good citizen. He was sent here for training by The Humane Society of Charles County before he gets adopted and my goodness what a difference in him in just the two weeks of training he's gotten. He's so smart and so willing. He WANTS to be a good boy. You're going to make someone very happy Miko!
