Our run at the jackpot in Mauston.
Our run at a fun jackpot over Labor Day! Honey never fails to give it her all even with several days off! Our goals were to keep our first barrel turn a little tighter and to get past the 2nd & 3rd barrel. We have a tendency to lean into the turn a little too soon. But we made our goals and I was super happy with our run! We stayed in the 3D which was exciting but I was also just happy to be there!! 😊🐎
Shoutout to Jonah for watching our kiddos so that mom could run!🫶🏻

What a fun night back at CRRC! Our first run from being off on leave and I’d say Honey’s still got it 😂🐎
What a fun night back at CRRC in Holmen. Our first run being back from leave and I’d say Honey’s still got it!😄🐎
Figuring out what a barrel is again😅 After all this time off, Honey’s still got it! Feels great to be practicing again. 🐴💕 #horses #ridinghorses #horsebackriding #horseriding #barrelracing
Still time to get in a few more rides before I no longer can. #pregnantlife #pregnancy #6monthspregnant #ridinghorses #horsebackriding
Honey Update💕
A much needed Honey update🩷
To sum up this long video, Honey did loose her foal. She herself is doing good but I wanted to explain what exactly happened and what led up to her foal being born early and not surviving.
There’s obviously so much more I could go into detail about but I wanted to keep this simple to help everyone better understand the full story. And the reason for me even sharing all this with you is because I had pretty much every lesson student involved in this journey & so excited for Honey’s baby to be here! Which I’m extremely grateful for all of you showing so much love for these horses!🫶🏻
Like I state in the video, if you have questions please feel free to reach out! I’ll do my best to answer with the information I was given.
The most important thing is that Honey is doing good and will be okay! We made sure she was and is our top priority.💕 Maybe there will be more babies in the future but it wasn’t meant to be for Honey and that’s okay.
Thank you!❤️
Hope everyone had a wonderful time through the holidays!!🩵😊 Here’s a little look back on 2023. From lessons, trail rides, gymkanas, meeting lots of new faces, getting the chance to work with awesome students, and so much more. Thank you for making my year so great!💕
Another beautiful day here at the barn! Buddy and Levi say hello! 🐴🌤️
Checking on the horses during this cold weather and of course bringing extra treats to spoil them🥰
You know your bond with a horse is strong when you can use the same whistle to call for them, and they will recognize it each time. I’ve used this whistle with all my horses but Honey has heard it the longest. No matter where we might be, at home or traveling, she will lift her head up to look for me. 🩷

Honey’s barrel run from the Friday Fun Show at Coulee Region Riders Club. I’d say we didn’t look too bad for not being on the pattern in over a year! 😄🐎
