What itās like living with our Doberman vs Bulldogs. On the left, Creed has been confined in his crate while eating. Not because of any food aggression or any such thing, but because heās a VERY slow and āparticularā eater. Heāll pull different morsels and taste, drop on the floor, sniff, pick up, spit out again, etc. Here, the bulldogs plowed through their food bowls š„£, all three rotated to check and made sure everyoneās bowl was empty, and someone bulldozed right into Creedās bowl and inhaled by the gulps as much as possible before I wrestled her out of Creedās bowl. All while Creed sheepishly walked away because eating was just too much of a task anyway. š„± So he was kenneled with his remaining food and secured for his own good so heād eat in peace. The bulldogs waited for any stray crumb, and Latke has even discovered she can reach between the bars enough to flip the bowl and spill food outside the crate for herself š«
On the right we see what happens when I naively think I can give two of those bulldog monsters some kibble and plain cheerios in a food puzzle for 45 minutes. That puzzle didnāt stand a chance. They gutted it. I double they āsolvedā it, but instead ripped it apart with brute force in a starved frenzy. Creed on the other hand, wonāt even bother to try to solve the food puzzle if I put the most delectable delicacy in it. Too hard, too much work. Heāll just starve, thanks.
