Let us brag about Maggie, LVT, CVPM for a moment. As practice manager she doesn't spend much time utilizing her LVT skills, but will jump up to help when it's needed. We appreciate that she puts her knowledge of working as an LVT into creating policies to support our staff and their wellbeing. And she's our go-to when it comes to reading fungal cultures - so she won't get too rusty sitting in the office. Thank you Maggie for all of your hard work & dedication to the wellbeing of animals.

In honor of US Indigenous People Day next Monday, we would like to share our clinic's Land Acknowledgement.
Caring Animal Hospital honors and acknowledges that the land on which our clinic is built is the traditional territory of the Peoria, Odawa, and Mississauga Peoples. We honor Elders, past, present, and future and those who have stewarded this land throughout generations.

May this acknowledgement demonstrate a commitment to beginning the process of working to recognize, support, and advocate for Indigenous individuals and communities who live here now, and for those who were forcibly removed from their Homelands.
